Im not really a guru on the 300's so I need a little advice so that I don't get a lemon. Firstly I went to view my first Z today, a 1990 NA 2 seater import, fabric interior huge wheels (265 on the rear) 65K/Km for 5G's. Just a few questions. Why does it only have 110mph on the clock? It doesn't have a fog light, yet it has an MOT + Drivers seat wobbles like a blamonge*? Are all two seaters imports? I want a 2 seater, targa, TT, prferably silver, How much? Sorry if non of this makes sense, Im just so excited cos Im test driving it 2morrow. thanks marc * Im not responsable for spelling errors!

Following my front wheel damage due to a pothole and the subsequent repair job I'm experiencing some steering wheel shake at motorway speed. I'm probably going to buy a new pair of wheels and the supplier have recommended ET25mm Is anyone else using this offset? Thanks Steve

79,000 miles ,Jap service hist and a bit of uk. Leather, red, £5995, awseome twinspoke 5 spoke alloys( only 16`s but they look right),not sure the central locking works .think i remember him opening noth sides with the key.Huge spoiler, rmember the drivers seat looking ever so slightly-y`know when the leather creases and lines slightly- but that`s about right for a G1990 isn`t it? Automatic Twin Turbo. No marks on the paintwork, underside of front bumper was a bit scuffer and centre covers on the inside of alloys was a bit flaked off but that`s about right for 1990 isn`t it.Any telltale signs i should look out for when driving it at 2pm?

just got my ZX bacl from Nissan, think the hesitation is fixed, but they are a bit iffy about my fuel consumption problem, is there anyway to test find out if the car is using too much gas, Nissan say the o2s are fine, new fuel filter, no leaks still only getting 300-350ks from a NA 2+2 auto

If you want to call me on 07968586039 we can have a chat... I have recently been going through exactly what you are going through... It is so stressfull just *looking* around for the right Zed But I was very lucky, thanks to Chris F, I got an absolute Gem. (but I lokked at a hell of a lot of *CRAP*)(http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/chrisfoster/) Previously I bought an f**king pile of shite... paid 4.3k and it was clocked back from 140k to 80k.. got a refund but the whole affair cost me about a thousand pounds. Try getting finance from your bank as personal loan, then wait for the right car to find you Gimme a call if you want a chat, trust me I know about trying to …

Just finished polishing the car and noticed underneath that a belt was showing. Pulled it out and it is snapped. I havent a clue how long it has been like that but all seems to be ok. Opened the bonnet and it is the one to the right of the fan and seems to link about 3 cogs (is that the right term?) together. Could someone please tell me what it is for, would i have done any damage and how much to replace. Many thanks Martin ps if it is any help it has Nissan 11920 - F6501 4pk965 written on it. Very very impressed.I feel sorry for you fellas with 2 turbo`s strapped onto the beast i`ve just had roaring back at me .HEY? THAT SOUND? THAT`S NOT BAD IS IT? Now that is a sound!!You`s fellas in the TT`s must have those seatbelt securing unit thingies that they have on rollercoasters to stop you getting thrown out.Very very impressed. Exhaust was popping occasionally like a rally car when stationary high reving (no smoke though and very smoothe running) what`ll that be?Dealer said migh be the mixture is a bit out or small hole in the exhaust but i doubt it would do that. 2 twin pipe exhausts could be newer i observed. He said he`s putting a new clutch on and f…

...and a much lighter wallet! Had the suspension straighted at SE over the past month along with a service, MOT and new rear steering arms. Seems SE had to do some major work to the left front suspension arm and the mountings(The bit were you fit your camber kit Craig). I didnt get much opportunity to test the handling as it was raining , but I noticed it still pulls to the damaged side slightly, so adjustable tension rods may be in order. But, its good to be back in the Z and I'll see what the handlings like on the way home tonight and this time I'll go round roundabouts instead of straight over! Trev

JAP 1994M, 300zx, nonTT, 43,000miles, green, non-leather,manual,£8995.He`s giving me £2500 for my primera 20eGT,94M, with £700 nearly new 17inch 7 spoke league tantrum alloys(which is a grand more than i`ve been offered elsewhere[absolutely disgusted about that i bought it for £5500 only 2 years ago]) 1994M ,40k ish miles is a beauty isn`t it?(i have seen a few of 90/91 advertised but not as late as 94M .Am i too optimistic to say this may well promise a bit or reliability and low maintenance?Pretty youthful as far as ZX`s go init? Was a bit suprised to see it had no leather(pretty nice though)what kind of spec and 0-60 should i be expecting from it?It`s not as fast as a…

Got a rolling road session yesterday to check out the car was alright after my impressions that it was tailing off at 5500 rpm. Seems that I was just used to driving a car with a 6000-8000rpm power band, and there's nothing actually wrong with the Z. Anyway, power came out at 309bhp, 327ftibs torque. Car has 41000 miles on it. Thought jap cars were only allowed 280 bhp ?!
