Help, I have damaged beyond repair the driver's side of targa roof of my Nissan 300ZX. Thing is that it is an old model (E reg, 1987) and I can't get new. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find one. It is my hubby's pride and joy (we have owned it since new) and I must find a replacement.

Today I had my first confrontation with the police in my Z. Sitting in traffic when I see a police car came down the other side of the road stopped next to me and asked me to roll down my window. I did and he said "Your number plate is illegal" This is the number plate that I got with the car. Standard font, not italic, hidden or discoloured or broken. "Why?" OK lads, don't dis me for this one, you lot have had Zeds longer than me I need to take my car to the limit, I need to know the limits of my car and myself as a driver - I do not wish to try this on the public highway, death to innocent third-party drivers is not my idea of fun. So where can I learn more?, I pride myself on my excellent driving ability, but after flooring it up the A1 earlier today I am getting and idea of what this car is capable of. Hi chapz No major worry, just the HICAS light comes on first thing and then goes out after a couple of mins, then stays off all day - The fluid is a little low and this is what causes the problem methinks, trouble is I dunno what kind of fluid it has in. If Chris is about, what where you using mate?, if not, will I have to flush it all out and start again with a refil?, and is that a big job. Thanks as always, Glen.

I am getting some tyres - due to budget problems - IE no dosh! I am getting part worns just to see me though, I can get some 225 55 16's for £30 but my tyre size is 225 50 16....are these safe to use and what side effects will I notice? Hi, I would imagine most of us either own or have owned a 2+2 seater 300ZX. Most of the US cars seem to be 2 seaters, and a lot of Japanese spec. cars are available in this guise.Personally I prefer the shape of the shorter 2 seat car, and might consider a Turbo 2 seater in the future.....how many out there own this spec. of car? Recently Bridgestone announced that S-02's were being discontinued to be replaced by S-03's. I just tried to order a set of S-02's and they were out of stock but S-03's are available at about the same price. I called Micheldever and for standard sizes they quoted Fr 106.27, Rear 122.72 for their remaining S-02's. So the deal is if you want S-02's then crack on and order them.
