...will fit any 5 speed manual Non-Turbo 2+2 Z32, to cure the dreaded 'driveline vibration' at speed. Brand new and still in original boxes...cost over £200 from MJP last month...will accept £100! (The problem cured itself, and then I sold the car anyway!) JEZ

Just finished polishing the car and noticed underneath that a belt was showing. Pulled it out and it is snapped. I havent a clue how long it has been like that but all seems to be ok. Opened the bonnet and it is the one to the right of the fan and seems to link about 3 cogs (is that the right term?) together. Could someone please tell me what it is for, would i have done any damage and how much to replace. Many thanks Martin ps if it is any help it has Nissan 11920 - F6501 4pk965 written on it. Very very impressed.I feel sorry for you fellas with 2 turbo`s strapped onto the beast i`ve just had roaring back at me .HEY? THAT SOUND? THAT`S NOT BAD IS IT? Now that is a sound!!You`s fellas in the TT`s must have those seatbelt securing unit thingies that they have on rollercoasters to stop you getting thrown out.Very very impressed. Exhaust was popping occasionally like a rally car when stationary high reving (no smoke though and very smoothe running) what`ll that be?Dealer said migh be the mixture is a bit out or small hole in the exhaust but i doubt it would do that. 2 twin pipe exhausts could be newer i observed. ...and a much lighter wallet! Had the suspension straighted at SE over the past month along with a service, MOT and new rear steering arms. Seems SE had to do some major work to the left front suspension arm and the mountings(The bit were you fit your camber kit Craig). I didnt get much opportunity to test the handling as it was raining , but I noticed it still pulls to the damaged side slightly, so adjustable tension rods may be in order. But, its good to be back in the Z and I'll see what the handlings like on the way home tonight and this time I'll go round roundabouts instead of straight over! Trev

  16. Got a rolling road session yesterday to check out the car was alright after my impressions that it was tailing off at 5500 rpm. Seems that I was just used to driving a car with a 6000-8000rpm power band, and there's nothing actually wrong with the Z. Anyway, power came out at 309bhp, 327ftibs torque. Car has 41000 miles on it. Thought jap cars were only allowed 280 bhp ?!

Hiya GuyZ, After all the posts about speeding etc recently, I thought I'd share my experience with you. Tonight, after setting off from work, I pulled onto the main road towards the motorway. As I approach a *COMPLETELY* blind left hander, with traffic coming from the other direction (40 limit) what do I see? A Fuckin' Police car coming towards me on MY side of the road doing about 70 mph - brakes on, loads of smoke - oh shit, here goes *cringe* up on the curb. If I had not taken this avoiding action, there would have been a serious accident. Yes he did have his blue lights on but no he didn't have the siren on. After shakily setting off again, what should hap…

Managed to damage the wing of my 300zx on Private property the other day. I have been told by several body shop places that they cannot pull the dents out as the wing has a crease in it. Both body shop places have told me that it is likely to cost around £2000 as it requires a new back wing to be re-welded and sprayed.. I have accidental cover and NCB protection. I presume I should have no problems claiming on this????

Ummmmmmmmmm, this my second Z and both have had similar sounds coming out from under. Really only noticable when the car is standing still and running next to a wall or in a tunnel - so that the sound is coming back at me! Sounds like a tinkly/rattling. doesant seem to change with engine or road speed. Not sure if it goes away when moving! Sounds like it comes from the middle of the underneath of the car. Any heads up appreciated.

Hi, One day it worked - the next it reads -86 degrees!! (yep - minus 86) My ambient temperture readout now reads as above.... Any ideas which sensor is responsible; The one at the base of the w/screen, or the one in the roof/interior light cluster?
