Went today! Took a stack of photo`s and put `em on me site. Be patient though.Takes a bit to load up. Put some more of me new 200SX up there too with me front lower bumper sprayed too match rest of car and to emphasize the front bumpers size.It WAS black and about 5 inches at the bottom was invisible. What a waste of lovely large bumperness! Now, I haven't read all the instructions about this list but, what constitutes a 'junior member' as opposed to a, excuse the phrase, a full blown 'member' of this discussion group? TT

hehehe - my exhaust is here.....in a box you could fit a small country into, with provisions! And the couriers found my house before 10am, without the need to ring and ask for directions. Impressed! Now, the burning questions is....do I go to a party ce soir and not see much of tomorrow morning, if I even come home, or do I back my Zed over the pit and commence.... ooh...decisions.... Sorry guys, the car is staying at Polesworth over the weekend. Means I won't be there at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Sorry - better luck next time. Lets get in touch to arrange an alternate date/time for a meet. I hope that the car will be back by Mon/Tues. They determined the hessitation was due to a restriction in fuel supply. The lines will be replaced and that should solve that problem. Still doesn't explain why the engine overheated though ... Call me for a new date/time: 070440 16586. Cheers! Danny

  12. I am going to have an afer market intake put on but I dont know which one to put on. I have little money, and the £250 K&N one is too much. I might be able to stretch to a Blitz one, (Depends if I win any money on the horses) I have found GreenFilter, and its only £104 for a dual cone. Are these any good? Or are there other alternatives? I have had good results from the EBC 'green' pads on one of my other cars. I am going to have to renew the discs and pads on my '90 z32 TT - experienced scarry brake fade! Has anyone on group had any experience of EBC pads on 'our' cars or know where in the UK is the best place to buy discs from?

Well, the car has done it again ... Was in London yesterday and 3 minutes into my journey back home (B'ham)when the engine overheated. I already suspected something was wrong because the hesitation I normally experience on pickup from stationary was extreme (i.e., when moving foot from brake to gas the rpms dropped to the point of stalling prior to catching). Anyway, called Polesworth Garage to see what they think (I just spent £700 replacing my waterpump and timingbelt with them last weekend ...) They reckon it could be a headgasket, timing or electrical problem. Not feeling much better at this point ... Called the AA who sent over a very knowledgable guy who performed a…

  16. Having only installed 2 days ago a web server running windows 2000/IIS5 and not having had a chance to patch we have been infected with the .ida "Code Red" Worm. Having looked thru the MS site and eEye there seems to be a little confusion as to whether we need to do a clean re-install. Any of you guys know if a re-boot and patch is sufficient? It look as if it only runs in memory. More details at http://www.eeye.com/html/Research/Advisories/AL20010717.html F***ing Arse Cheers Martin

Working in the West End has its pluses!! HMV on Oxford Street just had a giant launch party for Gran Turismo 3. There was a queue of several hundred people waiting (first 50 get the wheel free). Loads of free t-shirts and keyrings being handed out. 2 Page 3 girls arrive in a Honda S2000 with GT3 logos all over it. 5 minutes later, the creator of the Gran Turismo game arrived in the same S2000. The band Feeder (who do the title track) were inside HMV playing. If you beat them at the game, you get a free, signed album. I got to speak to the guy who made GT3 and get this, 2 of his favourate cars: Ferrari 355 Spyder and the Nissan Fairlady!!!! Good taste. I c…

Has anyone worked out the Mph per 1000 Rpm figures for an auto Z32 TT? Through the gears, I have the figures for the manual, as published in Autocar in May 1990. My speedo is reading about 12% low! and I need to check against the revs. If anyone has I'd love to know.

There's been talk about insurance companies yet again recently, and although I can't give advice on which to opt for... I can tell you 3 to stay well clear from ! They gave the best prices at the time, but they've screwed me over relentlessly ! I've even got one of the numbers for complaints on the memory dial ! Prestige Insurance: Screwed up my cover, they don't know which each department is doing, as I was constantly getting bad letters with contradicting information after the manager has told me on the phone that the problem is sorted. I've been with them for 3 years....had no claims...and yet only have the first year no-claims bonus that I joined them with. H…
