I did a diagnostic test on my ecu today and it came up with a detonation sensor circuit error. I'm getting normal boost and I remember someone telling me, or reading somewhere, that it might have something to do with the avc-r that I had fitted. Something to do with the ecu would not recognize the sensor or something. Does anyone know coz I'm getting a little worried??? Cheers Vijay

THE 40 WAYS WOMEN FAIL IN BED Ladies please take note of all points!!!! 1. MILKING IT: When stroking a guy's dick do not grab it like a bus rail and start jerking it like you were milking a cow. Don't use the penis as if it's a piece of gym equipment to strengthen the forearms. The male organ is a thing of wonder and beauty, and should be worshipped and held tenderly at all times. The sensitive part is at the top (where your face should be), not two-thirds of the way down. 2. LETHAL WEAPONS: A guy's scrotum is a wondrous aesthetic achievement of nature to be treated gently. Don't squeeze the balls like you are squeezing water from a sponge. If you have long…

Dear Tim, As you can see I'm not really at SE with Pete, but am actually taking a well deserved, very LONG break in the Sun! This is me in the grounds of the lovely hotel... Surf's up buddy, as you can see the weather is lovely(better than the shite in Blightey!) and I've got my tops off...ohhhh eerrrr Mrs! ...and this is me with the palm trees gently swaying in the tropical summer breeze... Do miss you, wish you were here and hopefully I'll see you soon...miss you! Love as ever Hnretta a.k.a. Cheeky Z! XXXXXXX [This message has been edited by Timmy_Turbo (edited 25-07-2001).]

Has anyone done or considered having the starter as a push button? So you turn the key to the 'ON' and then press a button to engage the starter motor? I'd love that - anyone got any ideas or know anyone who has done it. Surely it cant be a big job to do?

I am thinking about putting a big spoiler on the back of my black Z, how do I go about doing this. I know that you can buy them from the Z centre but as I live in Hampshire I don't really want to drive to Nottingham to get it fitted. Also how do you cover up the holes left when you take the original small spoiler off, and do you order the spoiler in the colour of does this have to be sprayed. Has anybody had a spoiler fitted in the south anywhere.

Found this, makes me wonder if this is similar to the system that the GTO's have fitted which adjusts exhaust pitch to be stealth or "Oi, I'm coming down the highstreet, look at me!" mode. What do you guys think? Check it out here... Wouldn't mind one of these, not just a gimmick but a) stand a better chance of passing the MOT and b) draw less unwanted attention to yourself from Plod! Group buy?

Check this out... Frentzen sacked by Jordan! Is this "Launch Control" the same as our Racelogic systems? Are they the same product or is this a different type/make of product made for F1? Has anyone fitted their TC to a manual TT Z yet? I want to know if this Launch Control works or is just a gimmick! Tim ;-) P.S. Not that it bothers me one way or the other coz mine is Auto.

In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods. On a Sears hairdryer: "Do not use while sleeping." On a bag of Fritos: "You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside." (The shoplifter special) On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap." On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost." On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down." On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: "Product will be hot after heating." On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body.…

forget newport pagnell services... everyone meet at rothersthorpe services southbound (junc15a) (northbound people can get to it easily, see picture on other post JAE Northantz ) lets aim to leave rothersthorpe by 11:30 and arrive at billing at midday this gives ample time (hopefully) for people to arrive from all over the place.... The ideal junction for Billing is junc15, and it is only a short distance between j15 and j15a, so is no problem really.... oh yeah, and this is the M1 we are talking about does this make us sound more organised ? do we need another roll call on this thread ? ------------------ UK 92 TT White Mongo…

Got this in one of 438 missed work mails while I've been gone and just thought it may be of interest to anyone who has a BT Cellnet mobile. It has come to light that a new mobile scam is being operated at the moment. The user will receive a text message stating "Please call me on 09011500065 Urgent" and will say it has been sent by KB. When the user rings the number all they will hear is an engaged tone. However this is not a real engaged tone but a recording of the tone which is charged at £5 pounds per minute. The caller will ring again and again , mounting up a sizable bill. Matthew Parker BTCellnet Business Customer Services

Does it induce drag, making the car slower in the 1/4? I emailed Wings West about it and they told me the best solution was to run the 1/4 now, without it, and then run it again, with it, to see if it makes the car slower or not. I REALLY REALLY don't wanna waste $900 on "maybe" theory, so please, and owners of this kit please get ahold of me asap! Thanks!!

OK, we all see the times people are leaving there various parts of the country. For next w/e.:-) Newport Pagnell s/s, & Rothersthorpe s/s at opposite sides of N/hampton seem a good idea. BUT Someone from up there & someone from down here need to get a set time for us all to be there by & mobile No to communicate with. Otherwise it will be a (where is everybody) senario. Still don't know what time to be at NP s/s. And its only 4 miles away!!! See ya soon. harve.

  22. Due to various hobbies and the fact that the interim 6,000 mile service on the TVR cost £850 (and I used to moan about Z prices!), I want to get myself a reliable but cheap estate car. I'm looking for something the size of Sierra Estate & spending no more than £2,000 (but happy to pay less). I want cheap insurance and reliability - I can live without performances / prestige / looks. Does anyone have any suggestions ? Cheers Dave

Hi guy's Ever since nissan dealership changed the oil in my auto box, it's been playing up, but only intermittently!!!. So i had the oil changed again and it still plays up, any ideas. If i thrash the car and slow down it'll sometimes pull off in second and now and again i lose reverse. Then comes back after a while it also seems to be heat related, ie:more likely to play up if its a hot day But if i keep the revs down it works fine!!! HELP!! Cheers Dave.

I just wanted to know if the tyre fix stuff in a can is any good. I'm thinking of getting rid of the spare in exchange for some bass and don't want to be caught out. If it easier to carry round a can instead, then that's what I'll do. I'm running on 18's if that makes a difference. Cheers Vijay
