Hey Jeff,

 

Unfortunately I am in London until about 1800hrs today ... then it's up the M40 in a lovely fire-engine red Micra ... with a paperbag over my head! Deadly embarrassing.

 

All the pieces of my car should (and that's the theory) be put back together in some sort of working order by this afternoon, Polesworth will test the car tomorrow and I will hopefully get it back on Sat. morning. God, I miss my Zed!

 

I'm off across the Channel on Sunday for a week (going home to Holland to take care of a few issues) and will be taking the car on the ferry - hope it lasts this time... I've arranged to meet up with Eric (Lymonn) sometime next week as we are litterally only 10 minutes apart! Might take some pics and post them upon return.

 

I'll get in touch with you after I'm back to take care of the cruise control - your offer is much appreciated. The problem I have is that my belongings (incl. tools) are in storage on the Continent and will only get them back when we have move to our new house ... bummer!

I was stopped by a copper in Wales who coulnt believe it, b??tard photographed the car and informed DVLC on me.I got one hell of a bollicking off him and a £40 fine I stood there not saying a word and as he left sighed a relief as 145 mph had been a figure I had seen 2 mins before if you know what I mean.
