  3. ok so part number 26590 30P15 is for the third brake light perspex strip. I want to know if the strip is black or red? I thought it would've been black and asked the dealer but they cant confirm or say and they wont return it. Ive seen some cars with the red version maybe its just in the states but I dont want to have to start tinting/spraying it black. So is it black or is it red? can anyone confirm...? muchas gracias

It started to misfire about 3 weeks after exhaust put on the car. I've replaced the spark plug and the coil pack and it's made no difference. Any suggestions Thanks in advance Sam dosser

Hello all. Can someone confirm this for me as I keep reading conflicting opinions on the subject. R32 gtr coilovers are a direct fit front and rear although spring rates are slightly different? R32 gtst coilover do not fit front or rear. Can anyone confirm exactly which adjustable arms of which cars (s bodies, skylines etc) will fit my jap tt. I would like to buy second hand and z32 coilovers don't come up as often. I would also like to delete the hicas but would rather replace the rear end for none turbo parts than fit a hicas delete bar as I would rather simplify things and have less to go wrong and I hear the diff is a better ratio for drifting. Is…

Once the car has been on a drive and is at running temperature if I turn the engine off whilst still warm the viscous fan can still easily be moved/ turned, I've been told this isn't right and it should be stiff to try turn with a warm engine, is this right? if so do I just get a new viscous fan to fix this? I've also been recommended to get an electric fan but I've done some searching and there seams to be mixed opinions about these, I just wondered what you guys would recommend as im new to all this and you all have the knowledge and experience on these machines. Also to be a pain, mine has some idling problems (not hunting) to describe it I would say it idles rig…

  7. so i stumbled upon this and salvaged this little bundle of happiness from a wrecked scoobie im guessing its pretty straight forward but not sure if the cross overs need a separate power feed or do they just run off the speaker wires?

Hi, I'm finally getting around to putting the car back on the road after a couple of years off. I think I've sorted the engine water leak problem, sorted brakes and all the other annoying jobs needed for MOT. I was just adjusting the washer jets when I lost all power to the left hand pod! So no wipers, washers or AC controls. Also the clock has gone and the power fold for the door mirrors. I had a quick look at the fuses but couldn't find any problems. Am guessing it may be a relay although I find it hard to believe that one relay can control all that! Any advice appreciated. Not looking hopeful for an MOT this week now. :(

One of my Headlamp bulbs has stopped working and from what i can find out it is a H3C, (not a H3). Now from all my investigations, it looks like these bulbs are mainly used as fog light bulbs. Are these the right bulbs for the dipped beam on the headlamp? I also found this item for £20...any good ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200660064544?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Regards Rich

Ok nothing to new or radical here but I often see mentioned speedo dry joint issues talked about and thought whilst actually tackling the very same issue I would take a few pics to help anyone else doing the same. Not "a how to" by any means so the picture`s start with the cluster already removed and the speedo head separated and showing the back face of the pcb, as you can see the problem is not obvious to spot due to how small the joints are and pcb layout is. So out come my trusty geek glasses, now don`t laugh these things might look goofy but boy do they come in their own on jobs like this. Bought from ebay for around a fiver they hav…

Well after a good few months of work and trying a few things out (Like a wings west front end) we decided that nissan made these cars look too good in the first place (not the best advert for selling the mad front nosecone lol). So L 300TT came back from the paint shop again today and has the standard front back on and is looking oh so shiney and brand new... the only mods now are the HID headlamps and angel eyes and the super cool BSCC black wolfrace wheels.... pics to follow as soon as I get the forum working properly.

Hi guys, I have a problem and don't know what to do next! I have been tinkering in my workshop for ages, slowly rebuilding my swb TT manual conversion. Today I hit the starter for the first time in, well several years, and unsurprising it didn't start. ? I have fuel pressure at the rail, but it doesn't catch or fire at all. My suspicion is no ignition, but honestly it could be anything.. I have changed many things since it last ran - lots of deletes, etc. I have fitted a selin dual air flow adapter and a z1 chip to match. I have also changed the entire loom (brand new from z1) - the car was originally an auto converted to manual, but I order…

curious to know if the perspex strip with the third light is meant for non turbo version cars because of not having a spoiler? asking because ill be getting a new spoiler which doesn't have a third light or space for it and not sure if its a legal requirement in the uk to have a third light.

After having a faulty fuel filler pipe on my red zed I was in urgent need of a replacement. Not being able to find a suitable courier to ship on Friday for a Saturday delivery Ian took it apon himself to hand deliver the part all the way from his place to where I stay in Troon. Now that's what you call club spirit ! the zed is now booked into a garage for tomorrow to get it fitted. I'd just like to give my absolute gratitude to Ian on going out of his way to do this for me. Many thanks Ian and I hope one day I can pass on or return the favour personally to you or to another member on here. That's what makes this club rock , Many t…

Hi all, need some help please guys. I've had my z for about a week now and just got it back from the garage to fix a heater issue, and got a nice healthy service done too. Before I gave it in I noticed the a rather loud tappety noise coming from the engine, it sounds like something spinning and hitting the silver metal cover on the engine, as I rev it higher the sound gets louder. And I can feel it too if I put my hand on the cover, like a grinding tappy sound It seems to die down when the air con is on... I thought it was due to the car being sat for 4 months and just needed a good service (silly me) But the noise persists, I thought it may be the timing belt…

  22. Now as most people running the Auto Transmission drive around at half throttle in case there gearbox falls of I thought i would try and restore some faith I as some of you may know also run a stagea turbo which is more or less the same box design as the z32 i have decided unlike most (noz excluded) to push the auto box as i don't think the issue lies in the box but the lack of maintenance and using cheap atf that is not up to the job causes the failures Fuchs have introduced a new ATF For Japanese gear boxes model code 4400 for the fluid i have currently upgraded it in my stagea from normal atf as im starting to apply more power to the rb25 So resul…
