Red Z spotted on the road between meriden and fillongley today about 5.45pm I flashed my lights but got no response, anyone here???......Probably not.

The nights are comeing quicker, getting darker and lasting longer and I have decided that I want the silver light backing that many people have on here. I know some people say it looks bad some say it looks good, but I am not bothered as long as it makes my dips work better. There are a few roads round here with no street lights and some with only a few, and for some reason Wigan is changing all the lamp posts at the moment and quite a few are out of action and will be for a while. Any way. Enough of the babbling. Has any one done this themselves and done a write up on how to do it. Does the front bumper have to come off? Any help will be greatful. Thanks …

Hi, Can anyone help. I upgraded to AGX shocks and it turns out the old ones are missing a rubber bushing. This stops the shock moving all over the place while driving, currently my car, my only car is un-drivable which I need. Nissan claim this part is on national back order and the wait could be weel over a month. Personally I can't see how the relevent bushing went missing without the old shocks moving in the same way, anyhow I can't put the old ones back now, the garage disposed of them. The part is a bushing (56218-33P00 - $2.46) which is actually only listed for a non-turbo 300. For a TT like mine the part is not available without buying the original s…

Just got blitzed by a Kev in a renault 5 turbo!!! I was doing 20 past parked cars in a narrow street. Heard his dump valve hiss twice, clever hey, i think he was well chuffed

anyone know if the two camshaft sensors on the back of the engine are any different apart from having longer leads. Got mine round the wrong way when putting the engine back together last year.

I have this evening removed the speed convertor on my 1990 jspec non-turbo 300zx. and something has gone wrong. I seem to have shorted something. and now the speedo, rev counter, and dah lights do not work. and also my steering is still heavy is there a fuse that can be replaced to fix all of this if so where is it located or have i done some terrible damage to my baby!! please please please someone help thanks Mick

I've seen a lot recently about high octane fuels (super / optimax / etc). When I had my Z I had it set up on a rolling road and chose to do this on normal unleaded fuel. Using filter / exhaust / decat / 1 bar boost / custom mapping, this gave 432 bhp at the flywheel (based on wheel bhp plus transmission loss on the over-run). Those of you on an SE chip probably have something based on mine. I suspect that a higher quality fuel might have given me 10 or 20 bhp - so what ? My point is that you can get pretty good bhp on normal unleaded. After the tuning, I always ran on super whenever I could to give me a safety margin. This saw me good on a 2 hour stint at 1…

Does anyone have one of those plastic doorlock actuators? (it's a yellow transparent piece of plastic which sits directly behind the lock barrels) it's for the driver's side.

Hi, I have a 1990 Japanese Import Non Turbo, I am not sure if it has a Cat on the exhaust? also there are two pipes each side of the engine down into the exhaust, i am only asking as i want a stainless exhaust and dont know if i should get one with a cat or not. Cheers

I have been looking on the net and have seen lots of alloy wheels on american websites. The question is does anyone have any idea of how much it would cost to ship a set into the uk?

My rear wheels are looking a state with the rims being quite bad with chips and scrapes all around them and with black marks on the spokes too. Now do I recon them or shall I save up for 17's? Really I would like something like 255 or 265 on the rear, because 245 are not holding higher revs in 1st or 2nd in a straight line. If I get 17's it will probably be a year or so away cos I cant afford it and I just put new tyres on the rear too. Stuart

Recently my clutch peddel has been getting hard and the bite point is rased to the top of the peddel after a short while the clutch syarts to slip. I have orderd a new check valve fro the Maddella Bloke, but I think this wont cure the problem. I think the servo unit is bypassing vaccume to the wrong side and pressurizing the clutch i could be wrong and i hope so as a new servo is??? wait for it £440 plus the added, anybody had this prob. any comment?

I took the Nissan badge panel to check my induction and I noticed that there are holes where the panel attches to the nose, 2 had rubber plugs on to hold it tight against the pins on the nose. But they where bad condition and 2 where missing. The result is that when screwed in the front bumper side of the panel can be moved up and down slightly. If any one knows what I am on about do you know if I can buy more? Or is it a new panel job? Stuart

New 2002 model, unoped in box, completely unused becuase I bought it and then got a better offer. 2x175Wrms at 4ohm 2x350Wrms at 2ohm 1x730wrms at 4ohm bridged (birth sheet says 739Wrms) Remote bass control included too. Cheapest I can find this on the net is £420, I'm looking for no less than £350 plus P&P.

A few questions about them to those that fitted them, or have experience of them.. 1) did they make that much difference, is the noise that noticeable? 2) how easy were they to get in 3) do I need two? or just the one?

Maybe I'm getting old, just turned 30!, but I seem to have a problem with driving with the left indicator flashing! The problem is, I'm 6'6" and can't see the top section of the dashboard. My record is about 3.5 miles, can anyone beat this?? Mike
