I heard that a JWT chip will apart from the hp gain(how match actually?) improve the gas mileage of the car when the car is driven normally. Another think that in the program can take economy at low revs into consideration to make the car cheaper to run. How close is this to the trough?

I didn't buy my ZX for fuel economy, however, how many miles do most of you guys get from a tank full of petrol. So far, filled up and used 1/4 of a tank for about 50 miles around town without being a total hooligan. Am about to do a 200 mile trip later this week and wondered if how many times I need to fill up? Could be in need of a serious service tune up!

Hi Has anyone got a spare rubber seal/sill at bottom of the window on the drivers side. If so how much do you want for it.

Ok Ive been suffering from a rattle now for a few months so after the garage couldn't find it on 3 occasions i got my car up on the kerb and slid under neath (nose against petrol tank) well I found the rattle, there is a rubber type bung fitted to both exhausts and it is quite loose when you move it, it has a piece of metal on it that was knocking agaisnt the exhaust, I just pulled it to one side, is it anything important? Im thinking temp sensor? Mike

grr annoyinh little problem, when I brake I get a judder sound from the rear wheel behind driver. its more of a clattering type scrapy noise when im going braking lightly at low speeds, any one got a clue what it could be before I go out and my wheel drops off Mike

had the rear shocks replaced to pass the MOT bout two months ago, though Ive noticed the left rear side is slightly higer than the left, also when I push down on the rear left it doesn't feel like there is any play in the shock. The shocks are Nissan standard bought from SE. Any ideas before I take it back to the people that did the job cheers rob

Fitted my exhaust from GPS today, fitted perfectly. Sound very similar to mongoose ones I've heard, but as mine is SWB, couldn't get a mongoose system. Seems to have cured the flat spot I had over 5.5k, now revs up to 7 cleanly, well chuffed. Worth a look if you've got a SWB.

Middle section and 2 backboxes from SWB TT. Good condition.

in stressed out neighbour moment I have put water in the air con filler tube ! What going to happen - can I still drive the car - and where do I empty the fluid so I can put proper coolant back in. feel like a complete ****

I am looking to replace the water hoses on my Z, I am looking a Samco Hoses, but they only seem to sell 2 of them in the kit. Is this all that is required??

Hmmm, seems my hoota don't work. The horn solenoid is operating fine so, I assume it's the connection between that & the horns. Just one problem... I can't seem to find them! Anyone have any idea where they're located? ------------------

I have just bought a 1990 ZX import. The car is great but would appreciate some help. The front tyres are 235/45 ZR 17 the rear 265/40 ZR 17. Has anybody any ideas on what the correct (or correct ish) tyre pressures should be. I am currently running at about 30 pound per sq inch all round. Thanks Chris
