Anyone tried the 6.5 inch subs? they run about 80 us dollars each, arent super powerful...BUT I think I could fit a pair of them in the back speaker areas...Just need to find an amp that could be hidden somewhere and power at least those two speakers, or maybe all 4 (keeping 2 6's or 6.5's up front) any suggestions? Any idea where to hide an amp other than the spair tire well? thanks ast

Fitted new front pads (Nissan ones), but they squeek like hell (old ones ok), especially at low speed/pressure. Took them out and chamfered the edges, roughened surface and guess what 10 miles down the road and they started squeeking again. Any body else had this problem. Will it go away after abit. Its driving me up the wall.

Would I be far wrong with 200BHP gives 140 - 145 250BHP gives 145 - 150 300BHP gives 155 - 165 350BHP gives 165 - 170 400BHP gives 170 - 175 450BHP gives 175 - 180 600BHP+ to exceed 200 All the DIN kind at the flywheel not the thinner USA kind! Also assumes similar drag, right gearing, unlimited ecu etc etc Just trying to show the diminishing returns due to drag increasing by (is it) the square of the speed. All academic m'lud on private runways pub bore stuff etc! Also assumes a true reading speedo which is unlikely Std 1/4 miles also shows interesting correlation with BHP - it takes more and more to win less and less!

Chris:) PS: Ill get the rims beadblasted before they are polished so its just the polishing im after

Hi Guys, I am new to this forum and am looking to buy a 300ZX in the very near future. I have never driven one as yet so I am totally lost on what to look out for. What model and what trasmission I should go for. I am living in London and would prefer an Auto because of the terrible traffic jams here. How reliable is the Auto gearbox on these, any recurring faults you guys have come across? Faults in the manual? How many BHP are the TT and the non-TT models? If there is a thread here on that information, please direct me to it. When buying one, what are the must things I should look at? a nice little tutorial anyone??? How can you tell if the car has …

Just remembered. Right after I bought my Z, I bought a UK spec set of rims (wanted the 245`s on rear) The others have been sitting in the garage for ages. Asking price is £100 if anyone wants em. Off an imported car so in very decent nick. You can have wheel number 4 for free. It is split and leaks badly but the rubber is brand new. Anyone interested?

Hey folks! Think this is my first post, so please be kind! I`ve had my z since April this year. Kinda upgraded from the 200sx (which is also a blinder BTW). I have so many things to ask/say but will try to keep it short. Firstly, it is an icredible car. reminds me of driving my old rubber bumper MGB. You gotta respect it lots but fear it just a little. I have never had my foot more than 3/4 the way down, still trying to sum up the courage. When the rev counter hits 3K and the variable timing switches...phew! Secondly, I think that the feeling of ownership and support you get with these cars is amazing. I have spent literally hours on the phone to Luke …

Are the 300zx injectors top feed? Does that mean the fuel in the top or the electrical plug in top?

Hi guys. I´m new on the forum but expect to be a new member soon. I question is related to my next car. I sold my old Nissan 200SX 1990 s13, and try for the last 3 month to find a good 200SX s14, but only saw one. I live in Portugal and here 200SX are much rare than 300ZX. The last week a friend of mine tell me "why you don´t buy a 1991 300ZX TT?", at the moment I think that is a very expensive car for me, but after do some search, I found some 91 and 92 TwinTurbos, for almost the same price of a 200SX and some with same kms. Now my question: What do you think about ZX´s. I now everybody tell his car is the best, but try to be impartial. How about the running cost…

Or anyone else with experience of Car Alarms.... :D My alarm - **SUPER BANZAI IMPENETRA III** - used to be very happy and contented and would both arm the alarm and lock the doors when I pressed its button, giving a cheery couple of beeps while it was it. Now however, all it does is set the alarm. Its suddenly decided it doesn't want to lock the doors any more and i'm having to use THE DOOR LOCKS (urrgghhh!!) :( **Fortunately the Rottweiler that lives in my car is still in full operating order and my anti-jacking remote flaming `crisp n dry` additional security measures are in tip top form** Is there anyone out there who knows what could be troublin…
