The Integra has a completely racing motor and T3/T4 Turbo. Also its full limited slip. I've heard that more than 10K invested. We are going to race for money (600 pounds agreed) and I want to know if you have any idea what can be the 1/4 times (approx.) for such a car. He sais that he is going to eat me for breakfast and I that i will be his first victim. P.S My best 1/4 time is 12.115 and my trap speed 193Km. That was at the drags a few months ago (those of you who remember). Temp then was 30+ Celcious and I didnt do any burnout of the tyres. Also I run at 12 PSI. I am just about to order an after market turbo pressure guage and oil temp gauge but for the oil temp gauge would i need an electric one or capillary one

What's the best deal for new rear disks (what/where from/how much?). Is it true that these have some interaction with the parking brake system that's going to make changing them a whole lot more expensive than the fronts? And for those of you who thing our toys are expensive, I've just had to have the driver side lock on the wife's Honda Accord replaced. It had failed shut.:mad: She dosn't nag me about the amount I spend on the Z any more :)

Hi all As I am new to this forum, and to Z's in general I was wondering which turbo the Z has as standard? (I haven't actually purchased my Z yet, but it will be bought in a few months). I have four 200SX turbo's, which the standard turbo is a T25 garratt (are we talking of two T25s?), how long do the turbos last?, and how much is a couple of hybrids? Also, what should I be looking for when buying a Z?? I assume the lower the mileage the better, but are they prone to anything major at any particular mileage? Thanks for your help Luke

Anyone know the part number for the gear shift bushes for a Jap late '89 manual ?. Every gear wobbles like it's still in neutral :(

Where exactly is the sensor for this located as i got in mine today an inch of ice on it and it said 0 degrees ( must have been minus something) or do they only go down to zero. Might give mine a clean if i can find it!

NZR windows problem

Saw a red zed yesterday entering M54 or M6 Yesterday (Saturday) at about 8:50ish am. Anyone on here? (I was in a VW Polo) Ivan:D

Just wondering how "costly" these cars actually are?? i dont mean routine stuff, or mods that have failed, i mean unexpected mechanical/electrical failures causing a breakdown??, as by the very nature of this site we will hear of probs but i keep reading about how the zed is not reliable, but wonder if this is just a minority as mine has cost me very little, eg PTU, heater matrix, and a rad hose!! total unplanned expenditure in a year==== 275quid in bits 120quid in labour, not too bad in a year, how much have u spent ?????

I was wondering what effect any rear spoilers have on the aerodynamics of the Z? Is it best to try and stick with the original,remove it completely,or put any one of the numerous aftermarket ones on? Has any research been done into this or is it just a case of" I'll have that spoiler because I think it looks nice"? Cheers, F.T.

I know this is a lazy way to find out, but its too cold out there to start experementing, need to change the sidelight bulb (in the spotlight, import model). Can anyone tell me where to start, i can see one screw at the front but i think thats just for adjustment. In the meantime i just drive with the fogs on, as mr plod loves that.

Hi All, I know this is probably a long shot but did anyone who visits this forum happen to purchase an L reg ZX TT UK spec mettallic blue in colour from a chap in Northwich, Cheshire about 1 and a half years ago??? By the way. Powermeter shows hp or rwhp? Mine shows 340 at 10.2 PSI and 414 at 14.8 PSI. If is rwhp I believe is completely wrong. Also how much Kg you have set it up? Mine is 1620 and also I have it at 0 for the other setup (dont know what is called. But is related to the error correction). What u guys get?

pretty simple question im sure to those in the know, but whilts farting around today, i noticed that the zed appears to have 2 radiators.. why? ones got the mechanical fan and the others got a leccy fan on it. also, infront of leccy fan what i presume is an oil cooler... with a CALSONIC sticker on it, i thought jap specs diddnt have oil coolers? (presumable its geabox oil cooler). so presumably iys an aftermarket one, or am i wrong about the jap oil cooler bit? Any help would be appreciated

finalll stopped eating turkey and chocolate to get get off my arse and fit the apexi today. i can fully sympathise with the poor lad on here who was also out there decatting his exhaust.. it was fecking freezing!! when id fitted it, and i must say the fit if the kit and brackets was superb, i took it out for a blast for the first time in about 4 weeks. I cant really tell if it has made much of a difference, probably due to the fact that i aint driven it for so long, and the fact that my daily driver is a 1.2 clio but i tell you it makes you realise how awesome these cars are and deserve to be treated with a bit of respect if like me you aint driven it for a while. Well apart from scrapping every knuckle in the freezing cold the job is done . Although there was no noticable increase in power the car felt and drove so much smoother it even seemed to change gear much better (auto), Well impressed with the cat replacement pipe supplied by Luke at the Z Centre, good quality and exact fit. :D

Right guys ... need a weeee bit a help Standard speakers r 160mm odd in the front doors ? If i take out the brackets supporting these 6" X 9"s fit ???? the speakers in the back are 6" X 4" ????? I have been told to bypass the amp ... i am just up grading a little not trying to be a max power lad .... where my 0 - 60 goes from 5 secs to about tea time

I dont know what to do. There is no engine noise, the exhaust makes a lovely low rumble at idle which sits at exactly the right level. Acceleration is strong and constent and the 6V sound gets better as I do. My traction Control is stopping my wheels from skidding on the ice as I pull off. This is highly unusuall. :D (It is for me actually ;)) I dont know what to do. This is so unusual (apparently) for a Z ;) Any help or suggestions. Stuart

Lined up at the MAD MILE and went for it lol, he got away better than me (i managed to half bogdown) but got going around about 1 car length behind him, hooked second pulled in a little, hooked third BYE BYE :D:D left him for dead, slowed down and he passed me and about 10 secs later the two harleys comming bangin passed lol, drivers tucked down like ROSSI lol.... not much but better than nothing lol. I was running .8bar boost.

Hi, As my engine is lying in bits I was thinking (dangerous combination). The oil cooler works off a pressure operated valve over 47PSI and the oil cooler gets flow, below that none. There are pros and cons to this system, the pressure valve is on the oil filter bracket, I took out the pressure valve's spring yesterday and this would leave the oil valve completely open. I have found a source for oil cooler thermostats and have plans to convert the oil cooler feed to a temperature operated system. Opinions would be gratefully received Mark

Always gloom gloom gloom what will outsiders think? People who are new to the forum such as i, initially see the worst with all the problems. Where are the comments about your pride and joys lets see some positive comments(happy times) and get the old camera and video camera out and lets see some good moments. Let people see what a fantastic car this and also show people how much fun they are. Looking forward to happy times. I really want to chrome my head lights but chrome them for real is something that nobody can do here in my country. If i am not mistaken someone in here has used chrome paint for the job. Do u think its a good idea to use chrome paint or am i going to have any issues later on?

Just curious do women actually like the look of the Z or is it just a mans thing? From my experience women hate it, they think its too big. Any comments. I love them though.

if i can be arsed today i'll fit my new apexi indubtion kit, but whilst looking at it i wondered what the maintence for these things was..... i used to have a k+n on a previous car and that had to be cleaned and oiled. the apexi however is apparently a dry type ie no oil, but the question is could i still clean it using the old k+n filter cleaner??? i read the instructions that came with it but my japanese is a bit rusty today. oh and in light of whats happened recently i removed the spacers off my wheels today, it will be interesting to see what sort of difference it will make.
