Hi all. I've just replaced my prop (usual knackered centre-bearing) for another known-good one. I've tried fitting it in all 4 positions (run-out remains the same) onto the rear yoke but it STILL vibrates like hell between 30 & 50 mph. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing it? Many Thanks Shaunmac

Now I have got my 300zx working I will be starting to smarten it up. First thing needed are new front and rear bumpers, although there are so many to choose from i'm not sure which to go for. Once the body is sorted out I would like the car to have a respray. Does anyone know how much this will cost and where I could get this done? Thanks.

have been offered a stolen recovered sx .. cheap but ... The f'n BUT again apart from the damages the weee shits done to it .... they must have held the motor wide open until it died .... dont rightly know as when u turn it over the solenoid just clicks ... i would think that dropped valve and knackered engine ??? any 1 else ??? as it is cheap i could slide a boring engine in like primera or sunny etc ... does any1 know if this is simple enough ???? (if oringinal engine is shot) means the Z can just show it's head to the sunshine !!!!!!

A dual carriageway in weston super mare, i pulled up at the lights and this cosworth was there on my nearside. I thought fook hes gonna be quick, lets see if he can keep up:cool: There was only bout 400 yards to a roundabout so not much road, lights went green , floored it and he got half a car infront, then the Z power took over and i pull past him with my back wheels zig zagging 4inch side to side (last owner put 225's on back:rolleyes: ) then 2nd gear kicks in and Z growls and surges forward pulling 3 to 4 car lengths on him before breaking hard for roundabout. cossy eater yumyum :D

Hey, I have a problem with the zed not starting right. It will start, but will run as rough as a dog at about 250rpm for 2 or 3 seconds, then the revs will rise to the normal 1300 or so. btw this only happens when starting from cold. Any ideas what it could be? Could it be that the idle valve is adjusted too low? Thanks

Working in HULL last week (shame on me). 12 o’clock Friday dinner pulling out of a service station on the M62 Shit loads of traffic so I nailed the FAT ARSE BITCH and as usual she preformed her shit. ½ a mile on thought I spotted the OLD BILL in the rear view mirror some distance behind so slowed down to the boring limit, turned off towards SOUTH CAVE and would you believe ((((they followed)))). Pulled in to my mates road and guess what Yeh blue lights, so what did I do (kept going till I got to my mates drive 200 yrs down the road). Removed my self from the beast greeted by two fat bastards in uniform with the words “I think you know why we’ve pulled you over s…

Also the book says use 5/40 or 10/40 fully synthentic but ive seen on here that alot of you use 10/60. Is that thicker and why use it ? Also, is any make of filter better or worse? W/B pleasey weasey

was doing timming belt the other day.. noticed that there is a large weight on the pulley at the rear othe pulley . it does not meet the mounting in any way .... this could be turned of using a lathe ???? lot cheaper than an unothox jobbie ..... any reason that this could not be done ? would it cause an imbalance in the pulley or is this not really an issue as the same amount of material would be removed from all areas of the pulley

Full of the joys of a brand new MOT certificate I took my Zed out for a spin this morning. While crusing along I felt a strange warm wet sensation in left shoe. Glanced down to see rusty brown water poring into drivers foot well  Moments later I'm treated to steam gushing from dashboard and bonnet. To cut a long story short, AA man confirmed my suspicions of heater matrix failure and has by-passed it. So I'm back on the road but with a lot of work to do. Any advice on repairing/replacing heater matrix - how much is this sort of thing going to cost. I've just been looking at the 'how to' to replace without removing dash. Has anyone tried this? Is rem…

(although the engine was still turning over ie diddnt cut out) i got to the end of the road bout 150 yards and the idle was hunting between around 60 (maybe less) and around 1200 to 1300. it seemed to settle after a bit but then started hunting again. I managed to turn round and limp it back home. oh lordy what now? ptu? airflow sensor?

Got to get my clutch done very soon and wondered if anything else should be changed. I'm also getting a lightened flywheel and I'm changing the clucth line for a stainless steel one. Is it worth changing the MT fluid and if so what's a good replacement fluid? Cheers Vijay

Duck!...Newbie comin through...:D Ok, I`ve been through all the old posts and more or less decided I was going to go with the Blitz SUS filter...but then I had to go and find the new Sonic Power model...Doh! The main differences seem to be the shield to prevent hot air entering the intake and cotton gauze instead of stainless steel mesh, and despite much searching I haven`t been able to find any reviews or tests...so...was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this model? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!:) Cheers, Leigh.
