vijay
Hello Jim, If you do a search you'll see that the stock gauges are crap. The problem tneds to be the sender unit. If you want to be accurate, probably your best bet is to get an aftermarket gauge. Vijay

Its like saying how hot is it? The pressure changes depending on, type of oil, amount of oil, temperature of the engine, revs, condition of the engine to name just a few things. Generally at idle it should read 30PSI when warm. It shouldnt go over 90psi I think. The stock gauge as said is terrible. Mine would often read around 70PSI and then drop to 0 even though it wasnt 0.
