I recently sold my car on Ebay to an Australin bidder who has already paid me but has asked me to transport the car (at his expense) to the shipping company's warehouse in East London. However, the car is now without tax and insurance so will need to be transported by a vehicle carrier (from Bristol to East London). Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced company???

Just fitted full energy suspension poly bush kit. Some of the bushes are an absolute bugger to do, but probably worth the effort. Probably took me about 10 hours to do, but that was dropping the subrframe and taking off the hubs etc too so that I could get it into the press. Much less wheel hop on launch and the whole car definately feels tighter. Finally some feedback through the wheel too. Only downside is alot more transmission noise inside the car, particularly with my noisy plate diff, and slightly harsher ride. Reackon I can live with that though :D

Hi all, Because of the MR2 Drivers club forum being down at the moment I need some help from you guys if you can. Before I get a load of crap for being the "enemy" I do actually have a Zed coming from Japan at the moment and am selling my MR2 turbo to fund it. Anyway, to my problem. I am having trouble with the central locking on my car. When I lock the car with the key I can only get the drivers door to lock and the passengers door won't. I have manged to fix the problem for a few days at a time by spraying WD40 in the lock but now that does not even work. I really need to fix it to shift the car if I can so any advice on how I could remedy it would be most apprec…

friend has 300ZX Z32, non T..prob is if you touch the throttle at all on cold start-up it'll flood. Once running, there's no misfire but you have to baby it to accelerate, if you try, it stalls, so... we've taken a couple of coilpacks out, and found the plastic just before the end has cracks in it. To me this is where some of the spark is going, hence the rich running and stalling...... what do u guys think? and also, anywhere good to buy these coilpacks at a good price please. les

Having f***ed around fitting the glo-dials into my car last week I decided to remove them as they didn't work and the mph were wrong (US). Anyway, since putting them all back together everything looked sweet. My intermittent odometer problem has been fixed in the process but now a new problem has occured. My temp gauge moves to the centre correctly when warming up and appears find but every now and then (not that often), it will go right to the H, stay there for a bit, then come back down the the centre. It has done this during normal driving conditions and I have checked to make sure the engine IS NOT overheating and it appears fine. I get no issues with the engine/powe…

Morning! Just getting round to fitting my gauges  ;) Got a 2" water temp gauge that i want to put in the din hole thingy below my CD player. Do people usually blank off the hole and cut the blanking piece to fit the gauge? Only I'd like to keep my shelf thing (well 1/2 of it lol) if poss - but I cant imagine it'll sit right inside it. Any tips, or pics of yours, before I have a bash this week? :) Cheers Pete

Not trying to start anything, just wondering. My mate has a 95 Supra TT 6 speed UK model. I have a 93 TT auto. Standard as far as I know. My question is; when we race he always just has the edge on me, I mean he slowly, as in very slowly pulls away. And if I am on the ball I keep up, just. Is this what one would expect? I ask because I am always surprised how well my car keeps up.... Please tell me what you think

As some of you know I've been smoking on idle, I filled up with a tank of 95ron instead of the usual optimax, strangely there is no smoke at idle now. It may be worth trying for those with smokey idles. I've got a tank of optimax in now so ill let you know how it goes. It may be a coincidence but ive been smokey for months and its within half a tank of petrol its stopped.

Hi every 1, Finally had the car up on axle stands today to find the problem what i have been having with the rear end keep kicking out, i done a seach on here and found that others have had the same problem. When up on stands i grabbed the rear wheel at 9 and 3 o'clock position and shook, there is so much play there that it seems to be deffinitely the Hicas arm end joint where it goes to the Hicas rack, also my shocks are leaking so bad that when car is pushed on boot it just keeps bouncing up and down so i take it these are shagged too. :( I have placed this pic on here to give peeps an idea what arm i'm on about, it shows the ball joint without the rubber…

I was thinking of getting a autobox cooler from Zcentre, in Luke's instructions he says it replaces the engine oil cooler, and then you use the old one for the autobox. But the n/a does not have a oil cooler does it ? If it does'nt, can you simply use his kit for the autobax ? Will the fittings & brackets he supplies enable this ? Thanks John

fitting new clutch hose today, took it off the slave cylinder no problem, but I've rounded the nut on the other end trying to get it off!!. I've soaked it with WD40 for now and I'm gonna watch the F1, so hopefully it might come off later. Any advise? Or should I just put it all back together with original hose and take it to a garage.... James
