As some of you may know from reading my thread in the general section. A bolt came undone holding my balance bar on. Is it ok to stick some threadlock on the bolt and do it back up or should I replace the seal that is underneath? Any advice would be welcome. Edds.

This problem started 6 months ago. Car started to judder and then return to noramal. It dissapeared but returned last week worse then ever(6000 miles later), what transpired is shes only running on 5 cylinders. The driver side back left cylinder dosent seem to be sparking. I swapped over the ignition coil to a different chamber and it worked fine , that rulled out the coil. I got a new plug and checked that on other cylinder and thats fine too, arching nicely. So after coil and plug are eliminated where do i go next Could this be the dreaded PTU or should all cylinders go when the PTU gives up Help appreciated Roy

Hello, After not using the 300 for two days, last night i let it warm up to normal operating temp (half way on temp gauge) and turned the heaters on to 40degrees but no hot air came out. Any ideas what could be the cause of this?? Or does it just need a drive to get it all sorted? I checked the coolent but couldnt really tell if it was low as it was dark. Please help. Thanks Ant:(

Hi all, I may be getting an imported 90TT, However I heard somewhere that 90 models may suffer from head gasket problems - is this true? Is there any other things on a 90 I should look out for? Thanks

After all the aggrevation (MOT failure for sh*te headlights!) they're finally sorted!!! :D :D :D Thought I'd share the process... *Removed headlights without taking off bumper (lots of patience and stubby spanners!!!) *Took out high beam housing *Removed adjusters and lubricated them *Cleaned inside the housing using babywipes on the end of a wire coathanger *Dried inside with kitchen paper on end of coathanger *Replaced bulbs with '+50% Xenon Technology Bulbs' (Halfords own as that's all I could get in a rush) *Refitted lights and altered beam adjustment. You wouldn't believe how much black crap was on the inside of the lense…

Yet another funny one. When I am at Idle (which is most of the time for me :D) she ticks over at about 900 RPM, which may be a little high but thats not my problem. When I switch on the main beam the revs drop by about 200 and stays there until I switch the lights off again. She then idles at 900????? WTF. Why do all these problems happen at once. I am scared next time I turn the key the wheels will fall off

just a quick word to let people know that there is a garage in B,ham that is selling a couple of ZX`s i have recently bought one from this garage for 5`000 with a supposedly 12 mth warranty. the gearbox gave up after 28 days and when i phoned the warranty co they had no details of my policy and the garage will not effect the repairs so i have to goto trading standards if anybody wants the name of the garage email me. preferably before you part with your cash (dafttrucker@aol.com )

Just had a look at Liverpool Victoria website for quoting on an import - even though it quotes you the front page STATES CLEARLY they DO NOT insure japanese imports. Basically they will take your money but if oyur involved in an accident, technically you will not be insured. Any comments feel free as Im know unsure who to use as I may be getting an import. I'll wait till someone with a little more knowledge replies. Cheers

Ordered some mats to be made up at Kish in Sunderland. Copying shape from my nasty jap ones and transfering the nice little metal plaque across. Going to pick them up at lunchtime. Will post pics if anyone is interested. I guess quite a few of you will already be familiar with their work, he works closely with Peter @ PPS apparently. Wish I had the cash to get the full interior done!! David
