here you go somthing to watch if you have a spare ten minutes. its the fottage that Tony aka Oatasy send me on a dvd of our little mini meet at snetterton race track back in june this year. we met up and had a little drive down to snetts race track, me tony and steve took our zeds and jay came up to meet us aswell. absolutly great bit of camera and editing work from tony, just brilliant. now all i need is the link on youtube now so i can use this to advertise my car. and itll save you writing in youtube: East Anglia 300zx 1 have a look its great.well done Tony and thanks to whom ever can get me the link. cheers.

Hi can anyone help me find out what brand these skirts are? I really want a set of Kaminari skirts but they are becoming hard to buy due to the twinz kit's. Given up on the twinz stuff as they don't help themselves trying to buy the parts either out of stock or the suppliers don't reply to emails.

Anyone done this, what are the pros and cons, on the motorway at 70 mph it feels like it's over revving at 3000 rpm, I know this is the correct rpm, when it's doing 40 mph 3rd is to low and 4th is to high, they have made our local roads 30 and 40 mph speed limit backed up by speed cameras, this is from 60 mph.:xxx: Any ideas/comments welcome. thanks Paul

Any idea how the hell you can remove these plugs from the metal frame? I can see there is a small "tang" holding the plug in place, but how does it come off without breaking the plastic runners on the reverse of the plug?

Which exhaust gives the nicest tone? And how much difference do they make to power - negligible or material? Also where does one go to source these? First time I've considered a new exhaust so completely clueless! Iv'e got the SE pipes on mine that came with the car but I've never really liked the sound. A bit too quiet for my liking unless I'm gunning it and even then I don't really fancy the sound they make. Can only remember FunkySi's Veilside pipes and they sound pretty good. What'e everyone else running?

Hi everyone, Just got back from another great Zedfest. Anyway, the event has never really took off as far as the 300's are concerned. And given that in my opinion we have the best Z car I keep wondering why we don't have a bigger following at this event so I wanted to ask for everyone's input. Please be honest and even feel free to say if you've never heard of it as the promotion side could be 1 of the reason why not many 300's go. I'm really wanting to know what would make you think, actually that event sounds good. Your ideas can be as hairy assed as you like. Collected my car on Friday having had the engine rebuilt by Jimmer at PowerZed. Jimmer's done loads of work including a new wiring loom, bigger injectors, bigger SMIC's, 535 turbo upgrade, forged pistons and loads more. Now she purrs like a pussy cat and is silky smooth. I cant wait to get it back to Jimmer & Noel AKA Turbonoz to get it mapped. Just going through the run in process and we are good to go. Jimmer has been great, he's kept in touch and has given me great advice and as a bonus he's a top bloke. I have spent the weekend driving around (she's been off the road for 7 years) with a massive smile on my face. Cheers Jimmer I cant thank you enough :)

Ive recently upgraded to a larger oil cooler, i noticed in one of the stock lines there is a restrictor, but my new lines dont have one, is this restrictor needed??

Drove down to see Lee in Shrewsbury today, was a great drive with the targas off. He checked over the whole car making sure there were no leaks after the engine build, then he began making a list of all the bits of trim I was missing. Half an hour later my Zed was loaded up with everything I needed plus a dash board in great condition. He wouldn't take a penny for the bits or for checking over the car. He's done a superb job on my Zed aswel, not just the engine but he pretty much renewed everything on it. Will be down to see you again soon mate. Thanks again. As some of you may know, my NA is knocking badly, oil starvation to the drivers head and would need stripping, i can either convert to a TT using my UK TT as the donor, but after starting it today and having a good look around apart from a respray, new windscreen and catback fitting, it needs very little else and im really loathed to rape it. I have a chance of a good NA engine but not till October and even if i rebuild one of mine it would still be months rather than weeks to complete, so to get to JAE im seriously contemplating now on getting the TT on the road, albeit not looking the best, but its a zed and more chance of getting it ready than the yellow one. …

Hi guys when I picked my car up from the paint shop it was nice and sunny and nice clear roads so I gave it some stick through the lanes... 1st time I've really pushed it with meister r coilovers, and I wasn't very impressed lol... there nearly on the softest settings and they keep trying to kill me. over bumpy roads its like the rear wheels bounce off the floor the wheels then spin up in the air to god knows what speeds and when it lands its a bit crazy lol... I've also noticed when I pull on my drive it has a big bump in the middle and to not scrape I have to go over it at an angle and often 1 wheel comes off the floor and it wheel sins its like the…

Hey guys so took my zed to Jim a few weeks ago to have some reconditioned turbos fitted, upon lifting the engine Jim found a few causes for concern, shoddy rebuild work from the previous owner. So we have decided to go ahead and fully rebuild the engine. I'll be using this thread to post progress pictures and info... I intend to go and see Noel after I've settled the engine in and then fingers crossed the car will be going in for a full respray , all new mouldings,trim etc ... Watch this space !

Evening everyone, quick question, i'm looking to replace my front and rear disks and pads on my 93 N/A JDM import.. can anyone tell me if they are the same size as a TT? And possibly where the best place is to get replacements from? Thanks in advance, Sam
