hi, couple of things i wanna ask. first of, is there a shop in the uk that sells specific Z things (like those Z nose badges). I have a whole list of US shops but the shipping cost is probably less from the UK to the Netherlands then it is from the US. next one is about those nismo oil/radiater/fuel caps. there are pretty expensive (£53 for an oil cap at prospec), but i see a lot of them floating around on ebay for $5 or so. what´s up with that  ? and do these caps come in different materials? on ebay i saw one that was made of titanium; regulair shops only seem to have aluminium ones. last, does anyone know of a place that still has that Z keyring …

Hi Y'all. Jus wanted a bit of advice. i'm planning on upgrading my S13 to a 300zx. Ultimately, I'd prefer a U.K model but I've noticed i aint really seeing much uk specs for sale.Mainly imports. Now, if i end up going for an import, specifically would i be advised to look out for on this import AND what are some repitable import dealers? ALSO, does anyone have any 0-60 times for manuals in comparison to auto?(and please, dont let this turn into an argument on which one is best. I've seen what you lot are like)

I've got this red warning light that came on yesterday that looks like a rectangular box with tubes coming out each side and wavey lines coming out of the top. Does any one know what this is? I was close to home so I killed the engine and rolled. My temp guage was fine too...?

Sorry if these questions are thick, but it's the way I get a little bit of knowledge. Everything helps. I took a couple of photos under the car when I was investigating my rusting back box, and just out of interest wondered why the bolt in the picture looked wet. I haven't looked any further, just wondered if it was normal, or there is something leaking somewhere, or just water dripping down because of the rain. Everything else looks dry. also the wet looking patch in this photo on the arm, what could that be? Any help much appreciated.

Hi, I am thrilled to bits with my new Zed bar one thing, I have some very nice 18 inch BBS cross spoke alloys similar to the ones Andy Z is selling in this link: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=30292 The only thing is that one of the centre nuts is missing. I have tried a few places to replace it including BBS UK and have had no joy as they say it is a BBS Japan wheel. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to get hold of one? I know alot of BMW's have these style of centre caps but have tried one and they are much smaller than the centre nut on mine. Thanks guys, Justin

My OSF dipped headlamp is not working. Bulb OK, fuse OK, tested Relay - OK, but the earth does not switch "on" when it should do, hence the failure. It's a black and pink cable which disappears from the relay pin "1" with all the other cables down the front of the car. Anyone know where that little cable goes next? To another wiring connector? To the H/L switch directly or somewhere else? Any help appreciated. Cheers. Matt.

:( What should I go for? I asked about this a while ago, so I will do a search and see if I come up with anything. Is there any advantage to single sided, or double? I would like dual exit purely for cosmetic reasons, and not too noisy. Am I weird? I really don't want it to be much noisier than I can. I don't get a kick out of a deafening roar. It doesn't seem to be that different with this hole. I did read about Tiger exhausts in Banzai, and thought they sounded reasonable. Will I get any change out of £500? Also, I don't like the look of that wet stain on the arm. Should I be worried. I havn't actually gone under the car, just taken a few photos.

I had the tyre changed the other week and they jacked it up on the lip... I was going to ask them not to but it was half five and they were kind of doing me a favour as I had come in late. So I knew when it came off the jack it would be scraped... So the unprotected jacks have pulled a bit of paint off the lip- what should I do to touch it in? Do I need to do it fairly quick? Do I need to sand it down and then undercoat it or what? It's obviously on a part that's painted with the anti-stone chip rough paint so it doesn't matter about the finish, and it seems very rubbery and thick where it's come off. What should I do? Is this a different paint, or do I use the …

Done all the necessary oil changes and the engine freed up as I drove it! Have now got to a 1000 miles and took it above 3000 rpm, it is very strange because it feels like the engine is still breaking in above 3000 rpm! Its like every time I go out in the car it has another 15bhp added where it has freed up from the rebuild!! Anyway a honda civic type R decided he wanted some at a roundabout the other night, not only did the car outcorner him, it absolutely left him for dust, and it isn't even fully broken in yet :D :D :D

Since I've owned this Z I've never seen the temperature readout on the Air-Con display unit. I assumed that the display was faulty, so got hold of a replacement unit and this one also does not show the readout  So my question is, is there a fault with both these units, or is there an input problem, and where could it be?

I may have the chance of getting a fair bit of engine work done and just want to pick some brains as to what is correct way of doing what i want. what i'm after is a responsive engine rather than a lot of horses and understand once i go down this path i can not change the character of the engine. suggestions so far high comp forged pistons rather than low ceramic roller bearing turbos i understand with this i can not run high boost nos in the first part of the rev range i have been told that i will sacrifice top end power, but gain in the lower rev range bigger injectors but not massive cam profile well any suggestions?????? thanks in advance
