I've fitted air-fuel ratio meter on pin 55 on ECU. Meter read 'max lean', when driving this stayed the same, when engine off and ignition on, it stayed the same. Then fitted to pin 29 and this read 'max rich', but when engine off with ignition on, this read 'optimum'. Car has been chipped. Any ideas??? Cheers

I lost the Zed after work tonight at a roundabout  . I had only just picked it up from the garage, after a week for MOT and some other work, as well :( . I tried putting more gas on to drift out of the spin but there was no chance. The car spun 180 degrees and hit the inside curb. It sounded really bad  . Thankfully, it was driveable at low speeds- though a little wobbly :( . I've never driven so slow before in the zed... . On closer inspection, there is buckling to the rear nearside lower arm. I want to replace this but need to know if the Jap lower arm is the same as the UK. Does anyone know? Duffman??? :) Thanks in advance…

I was in the red import in the inside lane as you went past in the outside. Sadly I was paying very little attention to what was going on around me and only noticed you once you'd gone past. :slap:

Anyone know anything about these? I have one that came with the car and it's not turning the engine off anymore. :( I've tried searching for them on the net to no avail, though a lot of people seem to have them. Cheers, Ian.

This Zed ownership thing is becomming a bit of a bu66er. Now, after spending thousands, I need a gearbox rebuild as my second synchro is apparently bu66ered. Does anyone know of a good place to take it to have the job done. I live in Reading, (I know, but someone has to!!) so the clsoer the better. Definately losing heart in it now but it's gotta be fixed. Any ideas would be great. Cheers.

I have to change my set of Toyo Proxes T1-s - unfortunately they're all worn down with a big nail in one. They've been on 1 year but with big BHP etc. and some fast road driving they're going and need replacing for the MOT next week. I have looked at mytyres.co.uk but my local Kwik-fit which I use alot can do me a set of Pirelli P7000 (directionals) for £700 all in. Front 265/30/19, rear 235/35/19. Think it compares well price wise. Toyos on "mytyres" came out around £650 but then the fitters charge about £50 for the fitting, plus the order can take over a week which I don't have time for. I think the Toyos may be slightly better than the P7000 but I think…

Right, this prob has been going on for a while now. At slow speed all seems well, round town etc. On the motorway everything is ok, untill I put my foot down. Then it coughs, splutters and generally doesnt seem to want to do much, sounding very rough at the same time. Now this doesnt happen all the time, sometimes it will do this, sometimes it'll work properly, sometimes it'll do a little of both  Also if I keep my foot to the floor, it will build up slowly, but then the cat overheat light will come on. If I gently build up the preasure on the peddle, then I dont seem to have a problem  It was put on tony's ConZult at the last midlands mee…
