I have a UK TT and recently fitted an AAC Valve from an import (due to a high idle problem), the import AAC Valve is different from a UK one, could this be the reason for the AAC valve been blown, as it has now stopped working and has high idle again!!!

It only worked for a couple of days and sounded good as the idle when set, went to 750/800 rpm.
