hi good people been at work on the 300 today. i had a p/steering leak it turns out that it is a metal pipe that runs from one side to the other. i cannot see where it starts or ends an the tie bar mount is in the way but i can see the leak. what does this pipe do and its name so i can order a new one and is it radiator out job as from what i can see its quite involved. qestion 2 my power windows have failed, ive checked the fuse in the engine bay and it is ok. but ive got no power to the door. ive managed to get the window up by putting power to the motor. anyone got any thought. thanks guys.

Hi Guys, I have a small hole in the bottom sill about 3/4 " dia, one each side, just behind the front wheel arch, now I planned to weld these up in Sept, but with one thing and another.... well you know the usual story. So my next plan in to have a look at them in the new year, but what can I do to them to prevent further water ingress, I have got some waxoyl to spray inside and then thought of putting some plate/sheet metal over it using pop rivs with gunge under to seal. Question is, is this ok or is there a more accepted way . Regards rich

Calling all owners of Meister R coilovers! Mine are being fitted on Thursday and I haven't gone for the extension cables for the rear units as I don't really want to be drilling holes in my Shortie's panels. So my question is: what damper setting have people found is the best for the rears? Ideally, I'm looking for the best compromise between comfort and performance. :) Cheers!

Hi, just starting getting the z ready for the new engine and noticed one of the tyres was flat. Turns out the leak is coming from the valve... Looked everywhere but can't seem to find any the same. Wheels are Advan Siena 2, the valves are a long bolt in valve which are bent at 45 degree.

Saw this white K plate on the M62 this morning looked stunning and i actually got a babies arm seeing it on the road as i dont see many and mine isnt ready. Is it anyones here? around 7:50am near the Rochdale Oldham junction. Shifty looking driver lol

i just found the thread on vacum hoses ive notiched that the egr valve was not in the modified picture has it been removed or does it still use the same hose routing.

Just a quick question to put my mind a rest, what are the symptoms of a failed ' o ' ring on an injector? Mine still won.u start, changed to a series 2 ptu dried maf that was possibly damp. The car tries to start at first then nothing managed to get a cough and a splutter last night

Has anyone here have any experience with both the road and track use BC coilovers? I want to make sure I am purchasing the correct ones, I expect the racing ones will be harder, I need mine to be quite hard as the wheels run very close to the arches, standard shocks with 30mm springs were too soft and often caught. I am guessing I would be safer (in terms of catching) with the racing coilovers, or are they just too hard for road use? Thanks, Dan

Just want to let everyone know how good the service from JapSpeed is. To cut a long story short I was changing the coolant on my Zed yesterday and also upgraded the standard pipes to silicone ones. When I went to fit the new top rad pipe the plastic receiver on the OEM rad fell apart in my hands! I ordered a replacement Rad from Japspeed yesterday at 3pm and it was here before 8 this morning, brilliant. It's great to get good service and I thought it was worth a mention.:thumbup1:

As the title whats the best engine oil for the winter cheer s in advance

Positive crankcase pressure valves? Possible. Not quite sure what they do.but have an idea.may be wrong. .or why they are there. first, do we need.? and if so cant we just get rid of these pipes that block up? Pcv valves. And replace with a neat smart little catch tank thing.thatll be easyer to take off and clean and replace and wash out every few or six months?

I recently removed my interior from my n/a and the drivers door panel is missing the metal bracket top right hand side which screws panel to the door edge and is hidden under the plastic bit of trim does anyone know can you buy a new one and if so where as once my interior is all done be nice if it all fitted back together perfectly without any flapping bits :)

Hey everyone, we recently held a Z cruise in Victoria to honor a very well known aus300zx forum member who passed away earlier this year. The cruise was held on the same day as the members birthday so it was fitting the Victoria members band together on what would have been his 65th birthday to celebrate and enjoy our Z cars the way he would have done himself and wanted us all to do ourselves as well. i would love to know what happend to my old zeds h61 egu was a t/t swb i sold it to a guy in aylesbury. not sure what happend to it arfterwards. the secnod was h365 pvw. sold this on ebay think it went to the essex area. does anyone know what has happend to these. or where they are know.
