I found this this inside my passenger door lying at the front, clearly has fallen off and the door now has a rattle. It sounds like it`s coming from the stop bar that halts the travel of the door. Anybody have an idea where to stick it back to? It`s driving me nuts. Cheers

Can somebody please just tell me im being a paranoid retard!, im in the process of rebuilding my engine and EVERYTHING has to be spot on (being an ocd freak!) and ive been messing with the timing for 2 days now! I have the original workshop manual and various tech pages on hand so i have all the info, but i can never get the crank sprocket to line up fully with the grove in the oil pump, all 4 pulleys are spot on but the crank is about half a tooth out! No matter what i do! But im pretty sure its okay, because when i had the heads off Tdc was acctually just before the grove if i remember correctly! And the tensioner was giving me grief! But ive got it set to aprox 4mm so …

Having liaised it was decided upon to leave the top chamber red but the lower one to be smoked/tinted, this is the first time i have converted some tango lights this way and i must say they look really well. A very time consuming job as i was also asked to make them fully led which i have executed in a different way to when i have done it before, mainly the stock bulb holders can if need be still be used in an emergency or to compliment, although these are stand alone plug and play led lights. It's the yellow indication that i love, the on/off is so crisp, modern and the chamber is incredibly full. As ever the red, yellow doesn't come over as well but you g…

Unfortunately my 1997 Z32 TT has developed the annoying top end knock I have read countless articles about. There appears to be large difference of opinion about the noise. It seems to come from the top left hand inlet cam.And it would seem the variable cam pulley needs a new spring does anyone know where I can buy heavy duty springs and do they really cure the problem if not does anyone have a pair of good inlet cam pulleys they would like to sell Thanks Richard

Hi guys I've not been around for the last couple months as my car has been garaged most that time and I have been working on a new business venture which has taken up a lot of my time Anyway - I decided to give the Zed a run today as it has not moved for at least four weeks, and the sun was out, so why not. She's started first time and is running fine, all was good - until I tried to reverse..... and found I no longer seem to have a reverse gear anymore!! By this I mean there only appear to be five gears to select on the box now, where reverse usually is the stick just won't move that way at all There are no noises coming out of the gearbo…

I was contacted through my youtube channel from a guy in the states and at great expense he sent me his heavy ugly USDM LHD nippled headlights. Although very well packed one broke in transit, the casing and the glass  which rendered the matching pair useless, a claim is being made. The only option was for me to carry out a conversion on some Jspec lights hence making them suitable for LHD, these apparently are desirable over the pond :thumbup1:. The buyer wanted halos and a tube switchback light onto a carmad black glossed insert. The idea if you didn't know of a switchback is to light up white so therefore a kind of DRL, under signal the white goes off comp…

Hi all, I'm planning to import a GCZ32 from Japan in a few months, and am looking for general advice. The car will be manual, and ideally a '94-'96 with low mileage in pearl white. My budget will stretch to about €10,000 so I'm really looking for the right one. So mainly around the following areas: Significant differences between JDM and Irish/UK models (mainly mechanical and anything that could cause registration/NCT problems) Any concerns with getting the car on the road (in Ireland) Things to do before getting the car on the road (underseal and timing belt will be definite). Security recommendations? How supportive can I expect Nissan Ireland (or UK …

Hi all, So I'm having works done to the car and while it's been at the garage I've been thinking about changing the colour. I'm pretty set on going Grey but I can't decide on what grey? So far I've been tore between: Mercedes SLR Lamborghini Mustang Eleanor Grey I'm finding myself liking colours because of the car but it's the colour I'm after. What do you guys think would suit the zed?

Done these for another member and very nice they are too, the 99 carmad insert does lend itself very well to the fitting of an inconspicuous ring light. It's just a shame the crisp sharpness of the individual led's doesn't come across so well on a video, ok close up but a more distance shot the light just merges as one but i can assure you these look great from every angle. First part of the video is with everything off and i'm showing really how the stock look is pretty much maintained if not improved with the halo ring. Then i light it up and the final part is with the dipped HID light powered up and this is 6000K and 55w. Usual work as been carried out a…

Hi ... I have after market gauges (temperature) and was wondering if it is possible to use one of the sensors on the front coolant pipe? Obviously this will render my stock temp gauge not working. Which one do I use? If this is ok to do. Coolant or water temp? I would have to block off the hole with a bolt of some kind. Or would it be advisable to leave them in situ and buy a new sensor for my after market alloy adapter which goes in between the left hand rubber rad pipe.

My plenum is off at the moment and seems a shame to put it back without doing anything with it. I don't want the hassle of maintaining a polished one so was thinking either get mine powder coated of do it myself with VHT. Has anyone else done this without any problems? Thanks
