Before I go to the Nissan garage and wait a month, has anyone got a pair of gaskets which go between the back end of the cat pipes to the next set of pipes. The join is in about the middle of the car. Thanks.

Hi Guys Gotta have my front windscreen removed so i can have my car sprayed but need to know how much it will cost me to have a new one fitted if by accident my original one is cracked whilst being removed Does anyone know of anyone who can supply me a second hand windscreen and i need it to be delivered near Grimsby If brand new then how much are we looking at? just fitted the hicas eliminator and Ive *STILL* got rear wheel wobble, causing back end of car to feel like its on ice when I hit bumps. Mechanic had a look at it and told mne both rear track arms that bolt into the hicas are shot? with car up in air you can move the wheel left and right and see the knuckle on the arm (closest to the eliminator) moving. also the drivers side knuckle it bolts onto (wheel end) seems to move around a lot free'r than the passenger side. Any ideas - would 2 rear track rod arms sort the prob or is there meant to be some movement? Cheers

Hey listers my Zed makes a horrible suspension noise from the front end on cold mornings especially after a long 100mile plus run. Has anyone had this? It sounds like bushings (he hopes - that why I am getting them changed to polyurethane right now) but the sound is almost metallic. Luke from Z centre says his does it too and he has not got to th bottom of it yet, any clues? My paranoia is killing me !

Ok its probably been done to death earlier so apologies but maybe my twist will make it new. I want a new set of tyres to fit my UK spec original fit wheels.........8.5 rear 7.5 Fronts What tyres do the list recommend, fast road work all weathers and very occasional track day. Am considering another set of wheels for track use so answers could be an all round tyre or two sets, money not an issue but don't want to burn it !!!! P.S. Don''t know if anyone else has em but I am totally underwhelmed by the Zeds current continental sport contacts

Well Guys, The Zed is on the ramps and getting (amongst other things) its urethane master bushing kit fitted. It sure has a lot of bushes to replace. Anyway as luck would have it when preparing to drop the rear sub-frame I noticed a diff oil seal just weeping so that will be replaced to (lucky avoided cooked diff). During the course of the day I called luke at the Z centre and we talked a little bit but he was busy (just come back of his hols) so I didn't get to ask everything. It says in the 300zx enthusiasts companion that the euro spec diff was different due from the J-Spec due to higher running speeds does anyone know how it was different? Additional oil-cooler? large…

I need to replace the aircon radiator. Started work today but it's a nightmare. I've removed the airbox so i can get at the connections but it looks like the engine radiator needs to come out. Can anyone advise me on how to do this. Have i got to take the fan off? can i get at the lower mountings and pipes if i remove the plastic cover under the front? Help, help, please. Anyone got a Haynes manual? :headvswal

hello guys! just a little problem involving my HICAS! when i start up all the dash lights come on but then off again as they should, but my HICAS light stays on for 15 mins or so!!!! it does eventually go off but going round corners quicker than average comes on again!!!! dont know if this is a problem but if any1 has any ideas plz share thankyou thankyou!!! :duffer:

I think my heater matrix has gone. Missus drove the car today :eek: and told me that she felt a drip on her foot a couple of times. Noticed that there was some fluid that appeared to be coming from one of the heater pipes near the brake (its an auto). Took the car to town to get some retrim material and temp shot up. It didn't go over the mark and cooled down quickly. Car did this a few times on the way home. Got out the car and noticed some fluid on my left foot (the car is RHD). The fluid has a slight oily texture to it. Done a few searches and from what I have read I think heater matrix as it seems a common problem. I'm going to check my cooland leve…

I have a UK TT and was going to fit another oil cooler but then I found the other cooler. It's a Calsonic. Was this standard fit? Well anyway I have now put the surplus brand new cooler up for sale in the For Sale section.

Hi all, Before I get my Zed back (new autobox and converter) this weekend should I get the garage to investigate a bubbling sound I get from the middle/back of the engine. When I return from a run after the engine has warmed up I can hear the bubbling sound, dont know if it is an air lock because I have had a new rad on in Devember, it did it befor and it still does it now. We even had the car on a slope with the heaters on full blast when we did the radiator change. When I check the water levels (rad cap) after the engine has cooled down it is still full to the brim so hopfully not cylinder head gasket failure, although I am no expert. Anybody got…

It's probably been asked many times but what is the significance of the two LED's on the box? I've seen the green one on permanently but no sightings of the red one. Is this correct? Any info please.

Desperate help needed before I start pulling wiring apart, started the car fine this morning, got to work as usual, went out to pc world to get some bits, come out to start her up and nothing !!! I get the usual dash lights accept 1 is missing from normal, to the right of the battery light ! All other lights are on as normal, but when I turn the key it is completely dead ! I managed to push it a little way and engage a gear which bumped it lol but has my starter packed up or what else could it be ? I await the boards excellent respones to this 1 lol ! have any of you guys and girls ever fitted an underdrive pulley kit and then wished you hadnt ??......i am thinking about it but am worried if i will loose out any drivability by doing this ..any advice kindly taken Steve

What is needed for me to convert my Z from auto n/a to manual n/a... Do I need a n/a flywheel or can I used a TT flywheel in this conversion?
