guys there must be someone out there in Zed land who can help me :( ..im pulling what is left of my hair out...i can not find the fuse that has blown that feeds my wing mirrors and dashboard digital clock and intermittent wash wipe .... :xxx: :xxx: i have checked in engine bay and .......nothing !! ..all fuses are fine checked with multi meter and no ziggies so it must have popped a 'topsecret" fuse somewhere . :( .has anybody else had a problem like this ..i have checked the on line owners manual and i cant see on there where the fuse is .... :cry: not bothered about the clock but the mirrors are ticking me off .....and you never realise how much youuse inter…

Kev is your zed auto or manual? I could do with borrowing a speed sensor to double check replacment @ 160 quid will cure the problem. Its only one 10mm bolt and 1/2 hours work to swop over! :)

are you scottish, called alistair and just bought a hooooj house? then it may have been you with a red z that wasnt allowed on the drive because it was leaking oil!

bought new boost gauge but was woundering were the best place is to put it so i can keep an eye on it pillar pods seem so common, was looking at the frogeye pods in the z centre http://www.zcentre.co.uk/interior/frogeyes.htm has anybody fitted these? :confused:

Hi, Can anyone tell me what size speakers are in the front doors, i think they're 6" but i'd rather not take the door cards off until i have new speakers. Rears are 6x4's - thats easy

Having scanned through the help pages, I am getting more and more nervous that the Megan Racing De-cats and turbo elbow (divorced wastegates) exhaust parts are a load of crap! This is very bad news as my downpipes are really blowing. From what i can tell, it can take 8 hours to replace the turbo elbow's, if you've got a ramp and all of the correct tools. Has someone out there had no problems fitting them? Can you just fit the De-cat sections and forget the Elbows (if they are such a nightmare)? I've already bought these off of ebay, so any help would be appreciated. Ta, Mark :(

Well not quite. As some of you may know my autobox broke about 8 weeks ago. Finally I have had the a new autobox and torque converter fitted, I was going to go and pick it up tonight but my mechanic says that the left bank or passenger side has smoke black/blue coming out of the exhaust. Now I am no expert but have been told that because the car has been sitting for so long oil has seeped past the main turbo seal and all I need to do is go and take it on a longish run. Could this be true or do I have another expensive bill coming my way e.g new turbo's. :( Any help appreciated.

does anyone know if fitting standard type plugs can cause damage to a z engine? i'm only asking as i have just fitted new platinum tipped oem plugs but the plugs i took out were wait for it unipart standard type plugs(not platinum) threads were the same length etc just a little worried about the electronics side

Hello all, I have some problem to speed up to the 4th gear. So I went to see Nissan and they say that we cannot change the 4th syncro... Because it is on the first tree. So they said that we can only do that if we also change all the tree... So final cost (without working hours) is 1600€ :shock: :shock: Is there any body here that did it?

I have just bought a new wheel and also got a Universal Boss kit for my ZX... will this fit? or are there special wheel boss kits for the Zed? im not too fussed about loosing my cruise control or Hicas - or do i need a special Hicas disable device too?? Z Man :smash:

I'm in the glass business the last ten years and this really is the dogs b*llocks! Apart from making your zed windows look brand new it also protects against scratches and normal everyday wear and tear. even the targas look like new when you put this stuff on. Can't recommend this enough. If anyone has problems with the link let me know. A 250ml bottle costs about 12 quid , but WELL worth it, and will last you years.

Hi Guys, If I dont get advice on this simple matter soon Im gona put a screwdriver through some very attractive Alcantara or worse still through my hand. Ive looked on search and on Aus 300zx no luck im trying to get to my gear lever gaiter and hand brake gater to fit leather ones and Ive got the dashboard vent two top screws out and the two halfway down how do i get the panel out & the handbrake surround .....Im gona brake something soon.... HELP ME PLEASE HELP !

Maybe someone could advise me whether or not a uk 300zx with extensive service history and 100,000 miles is worth £4k. The car is mint apart from slight bubbling around the back window and front arch. Also she is standard but not leather...unusual for a uk model i thought? Help would be appreciated.

Evening all, quick question my car is gonna be having a boost upgrade done in the next few weeks so it's gonna go from standard 0.6bar up to 1Bar of boost. :D I've already got bigger capacity roller baring Turbo's to cope with this but I think the clutch is still standard on my car although in sound conditon!!! Is it gonna be able to cope with 1Bar of boost or would it by wise to get an upgraded clutch on order now!! :confused: Would the standard just start slipping in 5th gear if I nailed it or would something worse happen?? Appreciate any help guys!! ;)

Anyone recommend a place to get my 18" wheels refurbished , Preferably somewhere that will pick up and drop off . and dont want to use spit and polish if anyone thinks of them..cheers..and preferably neaish to me in surrey / london border... Also anyone know of rough price ..most seem to say about £50 ish. Cheers in advance everyone.

Hi guys, Got a rather big stone flicked at my front windscreen of me zed the other day and was wantin 2 know is there any diff between the SWB and the 2+2? If so any ideas where 2 get a SWB Front windscreen, hopefully not 2 expensive :( !! Cheers!!

finally found my fuel leak :) cracked pipe no. loose clip no. fastned to passenger wing just in front of the battery there is a thing with two pipes leading to it (one has been dissconected and a screw put in) have to say think cos i aint got a clue what it is anyway coming from underneath that there is small pipe about 3 cm long throwing fuel out doesnt seem to go anywhere and i cant find the other end any ideas? if i havnt explained it well ill take a piccy later

Hi people from not so sunny Kazakhstan .....bloomin pishin down :( i am currently getting a re trim in red and black leather and would like to change the steering wheel to match ..but i have heard the steering boss adapter is very hard to find as it encompasses the hicas ?? does anyone know of a stockist for these bad boys ???? i seem to remember Chris at GReddy was doing some a while back , are they easy to fit or as i would think a complete pig of a job to do like most other jobs on the zed thanks guys Steve

Looks like its on the same side as the indicator stalk though so might not fit. Anybody got any ideas?
