Ok, got the Jim Wolf Technology Chhip for my UKTT but where the hell do I stick the boost gets as the photocopied diagram isn't very clear???!! It says near a small pipe on the inlet side of the throttle bodies??? :confused: Any help would be much appriciated!! Thanks in advance!

Im looking to get one, but the one I tried made a slight ticking sound upto 3100 and then it went. But it was dead on 3100 that it goes. Any one else have one? Does yours do the same? Or any one else been in one?

is it feasable to buy an auto boxed car and swap the gearbox out for a manual? Is it just a case of swapping out the old auto box and dropping in the manual box clutch etc or is there more to it..(ie floor pan mods...) im desperately looking for a decent z with the cash to spend but only turning up auto TTs and really want a manual..... also what sort of cost would the manual box clutch and stuff id need to finish the conversion go for....? just working out if its worth the hassle...

intro: my engine is goosed and you may have seen my request for an engine in the items for sale section. i've recently heard of the VH45DE engine which can can be used as a replacement.. ive looked up this engine on the internet and have found out that it is normally aspirated and that the engine is not available in a turbocharged version but can be supercharged. the engine itself is 4.5litres V8 unit which provides a dramatic increase in the torque as compared to the VG30DE counterpart. here is my dilema: i) the engine will provide endless amount of torque but is it really justified as a replacement for the VG30DETT engine as both engine provide th…

Anybody on the list retro-fitted the Original US suspension set-up (with damping force adjustment front and back) ? Wondered how much of a job it would be on a JDM car. New dampers? Actuators, Associated loom? Switch? etc. Chris

hi all i have uk spec lights etc , just wonderd if anyone had ever replaced lights with j spec as i think they look better,,, i know the simple bit ie changing them over its just the wiring part can it be done what do i need, ,, ie jap side lights to replace uk spec and put fog lights on instead of the blanks on uk spec??

Any ideas how much this would cost??? Take off rear standard spoiler, fill holes then paint. Don't want the whole car painted but once done to have the whole car mopped. Cheers

Got absolutely wipped when racing a Merc CLS 55AMG and am feeling the need for more power. At the minute I have the following spec: Blitz SBC-ID Boost Controller (Yet to Fit) Uprated Fuel Pumps (Fitted in Japan) Katimoto Racing Exhuast I will be buying an Apexi filter and Auto Box Oil Cooler this month then a Chip shortly after. Assuming I run 14psi ish what kind of BHP will I be looking at @ the fly? Then what additions after this will give me how much more power?

I would appreciate any tips and advice on the Apexi BOV's. Ideally from owners of UK auto's with them fitted. I have fitted them to my Z and as far as I can tell they are working fine, as I said any pointers greatly appreciated. Thanks :bow:

The car has a few minor creases in the doors so I phoned up a couple of the paintless dent removal firms, who seemed quite confident they could do something about them, depending on where they are situated on the car. Is it worth doing? or does this process sound good and not really work? Will a standard body shop ever remove minor dings like this or is the only real way to get the panels filled/re-painted? I'm going to see XL in Coventry who did an excellent job on my last zed but I'd like to have a better idea of what to expect before I go.

Can anyone let me know how many types of clocks for the 300 there are? I have got a polished Stainless bezel/surround and it has got four extra slots for lights in the top left and right hand corners. My clocks have not got these slots and I want to know where I can get some from. Thanks Vince

Soz if this is a dummmb Q but.. When I bought the car I found it had boost jets and bleed valves...the question is, since I suspect the ECU is stock, what benefits will I get from an uprated ECU? Thanks guys... :bow:

Mate at work has a zed, as i do. rang me this morning, he's in work, he cant turn it off !! Had probs last night, alarm kept going off, so disconnected battey. Today, couldn't get key out. Disconnected battery, engine kept running. Disconnected fuel pump, kept running ??? Took out main fuse - one with the blue wire, still kept running, like it had a life of its own !!!!!!!! Eventually found ingnition coils thingy (not fuse, cant remeber name at mo). Engine stopped. However, ignition lights wont go out, still couldnt remove key. Disconnect battery, and can get key out. reconnect with key out, all ignition lights etc come on again ?? Any…

:headvswal Have just spent the whole of Sunday, lying on my back trying to bleed the air out of my clutch system. Was working okay but i had a leak from the hose going to the slave cylinder. Changed the hose and tried flushing though, but the Clutch pedal does absolutely bugger all now. I could only find the one nipple (on the slave) where is the other one as i couldn't see any more? BTW my cars a 91 J-Spec. The anoying thing is, i need to get this sorted so i can take my car to Topless to get the leaky downpipes changed. Any help is appreciated....

Phew just back from donnington park (british superbikes) wicked racing anyway.......... Is there anyone on the list or trader section who knows a good source to make some proper carbon parts/ I am looking to do a simple front splitter that would also replace the front under tray, a bit like the R34 V-Spec UK one, and a rear diffuser to clean up the flow under the car, but crucially still keep a stock look-ish. Also my workshop manual shows front brake air-flow guides attached to the front tension rods anybody got them on their Z ? Mine are missing,,,,,,,,,,, :( Chris

sorry about this, i know Clifford is dirt on here but its driving me mad! When i got the car i didn't get any instructions for the alarm so i just used the on/off button. there isn't realy a problem with the alarm but i'd like to change some settings and i dont know how. I've had a look at the online manual for my model but it talks about entering Valet mode using your pin number via a rocker switch mounted on the dash. I don't know what the number is and even if i do i cant see the rocker switch anywhere. All i can see on my dash is an LED and next to it a 2-button rubber switch. I thought this was the switch i needed but the manual says it's a 3-position …
