Hi guys, i know that insurance has cropped up on several occasions but as you can't possibly drive your Z'd without it, it becomes very important. So i'd like to run this buy you. I have an Audi A6 fairly newish and of course my Z'd. When i got my Z'd i swapped the insurance over from the audi, i assumed that i could continue to use the audi as i am fully comp on the Z'd but i've been told i cant. I'd like to use the audi for everyday use and the Z'd occasionally for work and at the weekends but all the insurers i'm calling say that i need a policy for each car. Can i transfer ownership of the audi to my wife and drive it 3'rd party even if its not insured with …

I've finally got my car back, after being deprived of the flying banana for 6 months! I'm not sure who is more pleased, me or Ryan. All seems to be sweet now, but I think I've got a bad earth problem. The boost gauge works fine sometimes, then occasionally it'll be hard over to the right - until I put the lights on and bingo - it reads normally. The fuel gauge never seems to move, but on a long run it slowly crept up to quarter full (there was over half a tank full in so it's still not good). So the question is - how do I go about finding this? Is it just a case of making sure all the earthed lines are making a good connection? Or do I just p…

 Gents, my Zed has been immobile for over a week now purley because i cant bleed all of the air out of the clutch system :( . I have spent far too many hours laying under/over/ in the car and am starting to get frustrated (the wifes none too keen either as i'm constantly borrowing her car). As far as i know you bleed the slave cylinder on the bell housing and then you bleed the pipe near the front wing. Thats it. It should be easy. But its not happening...... What, and where does the pipe on the front wing go? It appears to dissappear into the corner of the engine bay? Whenever I'm trying to bleed the air it just seems like a constant stream of bubbles, eve…

Saw two Zeds, one red one blue... Both looking very tidy. Didn't see how they did on the 1/4, didn't get a chance to wander over and say hello either. I was in the red Octavia vRS, went along with the red rx7 and black rx7. (For the record, managed a 15.5 in my mighty Skoda, which was quite pleasing)

I know it is a zore subject  But the main points on zeds at the moment are! Sills Rear wheel arches Front crossmember Front of inner wing might give a few pointers to people who are looking at zeds to buy them and where to squirt some extra waxoyl when you have one :D

i've done a search but hav'nt quite found the info im looking for. I believe there are kits you can get to do this, but what colour? Most seem to be red or blue. Got my new wheels yesterday and as I thought they've shown up the old calipers to look pretty dull. Basically I don't want to colour them, only make them look as new as possible, or is colour the better way?

Seems like you've all had a water leak at some point! I just signed up to the forum today so firstly hello to everyone! And here's my first problem I could do with some advice with. Just bought a '90 TT and was driving home and pulled into a garage to get some petrol. Which was quite lucky really as when I stopped I noticed alot of steam coming from the engine. temp read ok though. The engine was also idleing very unevenly up and down between 500rpm and 1500rpm. Parked up and had a look under the bonnet. I was greeted by a plume of steam coming from the back of the engine bay. when I checked the water it was basically empty! I left it to cool and then …

This confuses me. In my Z dash I have the standard gauge as we all have but instead of reading in bar or psi it reads in mm/Hg or similar. Any ideas what the hell this means in real terms and what can be done about it? I want psi damn it! Could I just gat one of those dash replacement kits? Its a JDM which has been converted. It still reads in km but the speed is mph if you see what i mean. I'd kind of like to replace that anyway.

Please don't think that I'm a tight arse after you read this! Im trying to save money on fuel thats all. Is it possible to disable the air con system without disabling the normal heater/fan? I keep forgetting to switch the ECON mode on every time I go out and am using petrol I could save. It also makes a strange noise when it is on.
