On the M8, looked in the mirror and thought "why am I following meself". Another zed is rare enough, but in my own area? Was on my way to Alton Towers. Guy slowed,I wound the window down and shouted "nice ". Big grins all round. :)

I have only had my Zed for 5 days. She is a 1991 TT import with 133000KM on the clock. I was planning a 250 mile trip today, so I changed the oil and oil filter yesterday. I used a Halfords filter and used 3 1/2 litres of mobile 1 15-50w oil. The oil was reading full and I took her for a drive last night and everything was fine. I checked the oil level again this morning, and the oil was JUST tipping the end of the dipstick. I checked under the car and there was no oil on the floor???? I added the remaining 1/2 litre of oil and checked the level again, which now read full??? There did seem to be an unusal amount of smoke from the exhaust whilst ideling, but aft…

Took my car last friday for its cam belt to be done. just drove my car for the first time since it was done.. and it is pissing out antifreeze and the oil pressure is only opperating on a quarter. when itle its at 0. dont know what the FFFFFFFFF but I am really peed off. Trying to take the day off of work and go to them. already called them and there quote.... we cant pick up the car till thursday... i then said ... i use it as a daily driver give me a hired car then.... they cant... and wont. i am not a happy bunny.... not to mention when they dropped off the car on friday they were only making me hang around for a hour extra. this is highly unexcepta…

when i got my Z'd the back seat was loose, on closer inspection it looked like there was 2 retaining clips at the front which had popped-out. When i tried to get them back in they just popped-out again. I ended up taking the targa roofs out and jumping up and down on the front edge of the seat but only one is holing. I gues they're worn but can't understand how, it's not as if the seats are in and out all the time. I did notice a small'ish box in each seat well under the seat with wires coming out of them, they didn't look stock and i thought that these were perhaps preventing the seat from droping down enough. Anyone know what these boxes might be?

Well i finaly got round to fitting my speedo dials and chrome rings(thanks again Vijay) today hoping it would sort my speedo problems out.It seems to be running 20mph out.Im running a jap TT with UK clocks.Is there anything i need to change to recalibrate it? Hopefully the engine and box is coming out this week for a manual box conversion and a turbo and injector upgrade,anything i can do while its out? Thanks Steve. :)

After doing all the checks, replacing TPS and checking loads of corroded connectors, finally gave up and dropped the sump off my box and scooped out the shrapnel - Now looking for a good replacement, please see 'Items Wanted' Thanks in advance.. Still not really sure if buying a Z32 was a good idea............ still looks good though - even with 2 gears and no O/D!

Is the uk spec box the same as the jap spec, except for the bellhousing? Is the swb spec the same as a 2+2 except for the bellhousing? so all in all can I replace my swb jap spec with a 2+2 uk spec if I swop over the bellhousing, also I belive the manual jap spec has no cooler feeds? are my assumptions correct? many thanks Allan

just noticed this evening when I put the floor mats back in if i press the accel. pedal all the way in theres a little click as if theres a switch in there somewhere. Now i'm right confused because the car had a full MPH convertion when I bought it I assumed it was de-limited. I rarely drive it hard so is it possible it's still restricted? I guess the switch could still be in place even though it has been, but never noticed the switch before.

sorry it's vague but on my way to the airport for my hols i think it was in m1 i say a 300zx twin turbo with a trailor on the back with a sheet covering what looked like another 300zx on the trailor. would have been heading between london and luton. ohh and it was 2 weeks ago

is it right that my UK spec boosts to 14 on the dial, i read somewhere it should only be 7'ish. Does this mean the car is chipped, I can't see how because there's no controller.

... Has been buggering about with my front indicator clusters! I just can't understand why, and I'm hoping one of you lot can shed some light on the situation! Basically they have wired an extra sidelight bulb (& holder) into the indicator AND sidelight wires and covered the bulb up in black insulation tape and just left it tucked into the bumper!?!? I just can't see why they might have done this. For some reason my drivers side front indicator is acting as a sidelight which looks odd to say the least! On top of this the indicators flash twice as fast on the drivers side - AND I have no brake lights cos my fusible link has blown :( My light situation …

Hey guys, Recently subscribed cos this is so worth the money but thats beside the point! My belts are slipping a bit and i can't tell which ones its down to, i'm pretty sure its the alternator and power steering belts but can't be sure so i'm gonna change all of them. Do any of you guys know the part numbers for the NON TURBO belts, cos i remember with the last NA i had the guy fitted TT belts and they were an inch too long and squeeled all the time! well not rough but seems to idle ok(ish) when cold. However when you shut door or shut boot revs dip then rise. Does this sound like an electrical problem ie bad earth or loose/split hose or something. Ive had a rummage round under bonnet while engine is cold and ticking over but cant move anything that seems to make it drop/rise again. anyone else had this?

my zed has developed a strange problem. it doesn't start after it's been raining. the car turns over fine but it just won't catch. it started happening about 2 weeks ago so i changed all the spark plugs (all were really black) and it started fine. then 1 week of faultless starting and it happens again. anyone got any ideas what it could be? any help would be greatly appreciated. alex.

Hi new to this only bought my 300 yesterday. Awesome car the only problem is, the handbrake light stays on even when the hand break is down, any ideas. Cheers
