Hi everyone, I've found a crack through my front bumper adjacent to one of the intercooler vents (I've got a '93 TT in black). TBH you wouldn't even know it was there unless you were looking because you basically have to lie on the ground to see it. However, it does mean that one side of the bumper is ever so slightly lower than the other and it does occasionally catch the odd speed bump. Annoying thing is I know exactly when it happened, and it's completely my fault because I approached the ramp into Staples car park just slightly too quickly and caught it on the way up - I wasn't really paying full attention to how steep the ramp actually is. My aircon appears to be backlight, but the section on the right hand side of the wheel (cruise switch and the dimmer) does not. Is there an easy way to swap out the bulbs for this section? Anyone got any pics? This was a pig of a job on my 200sx is it any better on a zed?

saw 2 today, grey one aproaching fleet servises south bound on M3 about lunchtime and then a black one aproaching guildford on A31 about 6pm

hello! Ive been a fan of the 300zx scince they came out and now i cant resist i have to own one my trouble is which one i was lookin at the twin turbo but most are autos i would love a manual but i know they are rare as rockin horse crap! I wolud be thankfull for any advice offered on mpg, insurance and performance times on both auto and manual. Does the auto box kill all the fun? Is it cheap to convert them? I am 24 and have full no claims and been quoted around £950 (import was £1700)for both AUTO and MANUAL with ADRAIN FLUX does this sound ok? Any help will be appriciated THANKS!

hello My car is a series 1. Would it be possible to fit a series 2 climate control pod onto the dash? Would any modifications be required?

has anyone ever had a problem with their reversing light going??? mine went in december (apparently reverse light switch) , had it fixed and noticed its gone again.Just wondered if there is something wrong with my manual gearbox. The lights not a major issue i know but mot's looming. No its not the bulb! :tongue:

I know, I know, you'll all say I should have bought a TT but I'm fed up with trying to xsort out problems with turbo'd cars so I've gone back to the good old NA engine. I've heard you can squeeze about 280 - 290 out of an NA and I'm interested in finding out what people have done to get close to those figures.

a red light comes on when i go fasti sh not to fast and goes off when i slow down and the car feels like its missing on a plug or something it look light 2 lines going to a box and a sort of ssssss above it dont no how to post a pic of it looks like something geting hot ?

Anyone use delphi gauges? are they any good? They are v expensive so they cant be too bad?

Just went and collected my zed (black tt manual 52000miles). Was fine on the 50 mile journey back and now seems to be pumping horrible shite from the exhaust and sometimes cuts out when i'm stopping! It hasn't been given a proper drive for ages up until now and I took it easy. Anybody got any ideas and what should the oil pressure gauge read. Help would be appreciated as I've waited ages for a decent low mileage car and would be mortified if this was a cronk!!

is there any reason why a head unit imported from the states wouldnt work over here? im looking at a few and the freq spacing is the same as here but im after a combined dvd style head unit (obviously play region 1 dvds only) but anything else that might be different/catch me out?

hiya guys, picked up my zed yesterday (mattys old one..) but ive noticed something strange with the drivers electric seat... all the movements work except moving the seat forward (toward the steering wheel). The seat will move back though, so am i correct in assuming its probably just the switch thats not working / poor conection as it surly must be the same motor/action to move the seat back... is there any quick way i can move the seat forward a bit before i have the time to fault find the wiring/switch...? thanks andy

On the M8, looked in the mirror and thought "why am I following meself". Another zed is rare enough, but in my own area? Was on my way to Alton Towers. Guy slowed,I wound the window down and shouted "nice ". Big grins all round. :)

I have only had my Zed for 5 days. She is a 1991 TT import with 133000KM on the clock. I was planning a 250 mile trip today, so I changed the oil and oil filter yesterday. I used a Halfords filter and used 3 1/2 litres of mobile 1 15-50w oil. The oil was reading full and I took her for a drive last night and everything was fine. I checked the oil level again this morning, and the oil was JUST tipping the end of the dipstick. I checked under the car and there was no oil on the floor???? I added the remaining 1/2 litre of oil and checked the level again, which now read full??? There did seem to be an unusal amount of smoke from the exhaust whilst ideling, but aft…

Took my car last friday for its cam belt to be done. just drove my car for the first time since it was done.. and it is pissing out antifreeze and the oil pressure is only opperating on a quarter. when itle its at 0. dont know what the FFFFFFFFF but I am really peed off. Trying to take the day off of work and go to them. already called them and there quote.... we cant pick up the car till thursday... i then said ... i use it as a daily driver give me a hired car then.... they cant... and wont. i am not a happy bunny.... not to mention when they dropped off the car on friday they were only making me hang around for a hour extra. this is highly unexcepta…

Maroon zed parked up nearly opp Bobs carpet shop. Think it had space saver spare wheel on. (yesterday about 4 30)
