Hi Guys, Had an accident in the Zed about 18months ago due to a fox and a slippery road!!! :mad: :headvswal The dilema now is do I try to fix her up or break it up and use my money to buy a new one. The car spec is as follows: 1990 Uk TT SE Nissan fast road rebuild auto box that has only covered about 2000 miles and an uprated oil cooler. Hybrid turbo's fitted just after the rebuild box. Performance air filter Performance exhaust including decat pipes. JWT Chip Standard bodywork and wheels. I recently bought a Z. it was advertise as a Twin Turbo, unfortuntly after looking on this website realise it not, went back to the man and he say it was the advertsing company and well i couldnt do much abt it since i allready parted with my money. so, just wondering how badly is the non turbo compare to a turbo and is it worth upgrading it or better of buying a new Z.

Im thinking of swapping out my interior light for a more modern "theater" style (which fades slowly when the doors are closed..). And also thinking at the same time of swapping over tothe more soft light of the higher power leds around on the market.... Just wondering if anyone has done this before (save me reaching for the soldiering iron..) ... or if anyone else would be interested in a swap out unit or plug in swap...

Ive read in a few searchs these thing are not up to much, and mine seems to be proving no different.... it works as and when it wants really (well at least i hope thats the case and im not randomly running no oil pressure!!!) anythin i can do just to fault find whats going on...?

My Z is a 91/92 TT JDM I need NSF strut/shock, I have the opportunity to buy the front struts from a NA, year not known, possibly JDM, are they the same ? CheerZ Paul

at last final decision... im gonna rebuild my whole engine for a more powerful than standard engine. the head and tubs need replacing. its a 1990 manual in black with leather interior where do i start. what i want to do. 1 replace injectors with 780cc 2 replace tubs with more powerful ones blitz ecu 3 ported heads? (need advice ) 4 new gaskets all round neoprene vacuum hoses (shall i bore out cylinders in which case i will need new pistons, rings etc) what about cam angle sensor? macca whats my options... the way i see it if im gonna pay for a new engine (£1000 min) might as well spend it on a rebuild. you seem to be the expert…

When i brought my zed i was told the hicas was disabled and thought nothing of it, but having looked a bit closer the hicas light intermitantly gos off.... so im thinking it probably hasnt been disabled and is just playing up... it seems to come on and go off as it pleases, sometimes it stays off for ages other times it flickers off/on then stays either of or on, but i cant really find any pattern to its behaviour... anyone got any suggestions on what might be going on or where i can start with this...?

Lovley white zed heading north on a1/m1 stuck in traffic going past leeds about 6ish, i was in a blue vectra stuck thumb up at you and you thumbed back. The zed had stainless exhausts,rear spoiler and i think 18" wheels rear lights were modded too. Reg had the the word RAT in it was a dam fine example of a zed! :dance: :dance: :dance:

from reading the book, this seems possible and easy. just wondering what peoples thoughts were if a clutch switch is fitted, is this correct Once a certain preset parameter is meet and the clutch depressed a second rev limit comes in. allowing you to change gear without over reving and not comming too far of boost, as you can keep your foot flat to the floor. Will be getting a stainless steel exhaust. I would like four pipes out the back. Like the Mongoose But don,t know which one to get. Can I do away with the cat & will I need to set the engine up & air intakes ect....Sorry to be so thick but don't know much about exhaust......Or is there a better one to put on a Zed?

I have recently purchased a nissan 300zx non turbo and the dials have not been converted to MPH, and i was wondering if anyone knows A. how easy it is to change this and B. if there is anywhere near brighon that does this?

was thinkin of having this done whilst the cars in pieces - had a little search - but most prices seem to involve the whole kaboodle inc engine removal. whats an average price for having the 2 turbos reconned (and what can be done to improve them?) has anyone used turbo developments or turbo dynamics? cheers mowgs

been offered an exhaust off an NA, cat back system, but i have a TT - will it fit?

Does anyone know the maximum power an N/A diff can take? Also are there any figures for improvement in 0-60 times etc? Is it a straight swap or are other bits required?
