got a new auto box for my 92 na fairlady is it easy to change whats the best way to go about it do i need any speacialist tools and what wolud be a reasonable price to get a garage to do it

1 silver in the morning we were talking u had a customers car. had 300zx.co.uk sticker on it. going towards hatton cross 1 silver parked in the gym in longford 1 black zed going towards hayes from uxbridge 1 silver zed parked in block*******. all looking good. so you can say ive been zed spotting. :p

Anyone using a DMS (Varley) Red top lightweight battery?? Or any other type Which one??? 25, 30 or a 40? Looking to get one soon, just need to know how much power capacity Im gonna need.

Went out for a quick spin after sorting my rad, car seemed fine till i came a blind corner and some tossers had put a big boulder in the road that went crunch under my car. Now when the boost needle hits the 0 it goes no further and i get a massive hissing sound from the engine bay (i think drivers side). I cant work out where it would be comming from though. Any ideas?

hi, just dropped the wife off in town, & give it a little burst on the way back. i didnt think it pulled as normal, but i was in third, so maybe the revs were to low & i should of cogged down, anyway an alfa pulled out straight in front of me & as i braked i noticed the speedo needle flickering. dont know if its anything to worry about or not, but if it is i would rather know! its a jap tt, chipped, delimited & foam filter (crap i know) thanks steve

Just noticed that my passenger window has stopped working. The drivers side is ok (stuck in the up position at least some good luck). Does anyone have any ideas what I should check first? I have check the fuse under the bonnet with seems ok. Not sure what to do next. Ev

Hi, just wondering...the bits under the wing of my uktt...what are they for...I see they are linked to the exhaust just before the cats....are they summit to do with emmissions...just askin because I'm planning to decat and thought I could get rid of that lot!! any ideas would be appreciated.... Anyone ridded their cars if the crappy peice of alloy rod that props up the bonnet when open? Was trying to work out if struts from something else would fit, or weather there were any kits for this. Ta

sorry to ask again as im sure this has been covered.. but im fitting a boost guage and having problems finding a hole in the fire wall to pass the tubing through.. anyone got any pics of where they routed there's or did you have to drill :x:

My NS front strut appears weaker than the OS, when going over a speed hump on the OS all is ok but on the NS (same bump, same speed) it goes with a bang or clunk as if it hits the stopper :confused: and is worse the harder/faster I hit it. Would that be a weak spring or shock/damper. She only passed MOT a few weeks ago but was doing this before the MOT. Cheers Paul

I've been offered some jap coilovers for my 2+2, but i've been told their for a 2 seater. Does anyone know what the difference is and if they can be moddified????

My mate spotted a Z'd in Chester last week. He said it was black and had the rear spoiler removed and that it looked the bo**oks - and that i should do this mod. Wouldn't mind having a look myself.

Im guessing it could be the signs of one of the indicator bulbs going but normally they just blow. Is there any other reason for this fast flashing? It only happens when i first use the indicators after leaving the car for a while and is then fine after a few seconds...returns to normal flashing speed. Ta

i have 1992 Z32 manual. looking at various upgrades. boost controller, turbos, induction, de-cat. what would be a good ECU buy? i see zedworld do one, Get Greddy also do an upgrade to current ECU. Are these any good? Heard that if i upgrade turbos and injectors in future would have to pay to upgrade ECU again. Would i be better off buying a proper ECU? Especially as was hoping to get bits fitted. Then tuned on rolling road to fine tune ECU. Is this worth doing? Would i get more horses from a proper ECU? Any of you guys got any experience of ECU's? I've got a noise coming from the clutch (i think). The clutch has been recently replaced but when the car is static it seems to be making a noise. When i press the clutch in the noise stops? Any ideas?

Heading towards the tunnel sitting in traffic just past the M/A20 junction at about 3:00pm (As i looked you were just putting your finger up your nose :x: )

I dont know if anyone else has ever noticed this... Switch the car into O/D off (so the light is on) Accelerate from 0 going through the gears...1 is ok 2 to but sometimes revs a bit high even though youre not poking it 2-3 the car seems to hestitate and want to brake even though you havent put your foot off the gas, then it starts to pick up again but not much until you give it some more.. it happens also with O/D on (the light off) if you floor it just from 0 but its more noticable with the od off.. anyone got any ideas on this? feels rather weird and unnecessary (I wonder if i have got everything that can go wrong with a zx on my car?!)
