  1. Now that I know it won't be illegal anytime soon, I'd like to free up the lighter socket and hardwire my Road Angel. Anyone know of a guide, please? (preferably with pics)

Hi All, recently fitted my superb Indiglo Dials from Vijay's GB (top job m8). Thinking of ways to re-route the yellow 'low fuel' light on the fuel guage that is now blocked off. The only real way i can think of so far is to have a small Led sticking out of the black plastic front facia that holds the Overdrive and Power lights on the right-hand side of the steering wheel. Was just wandering what you guys have done to overcome this? I know alot of you got these in the GB, so any idea's or details of how you've got round this will be a massive help!!! (plus pics ;) ) Kinda important now cos i fixed my odometer at the same time, and i've just worked out …

Anyone ever get loadsa reflections when the sun is lowish in the sky. In particular I get the binnacle top reflecting in the screen pretty bad i have to squint to see. Partly due to the steep rake of the screen maybe ?? I thought I would whip the binnacle off and cover it with Alcantara, I have some black left over from working on my another job. Is it a trouble spot on the Z ??????

Hi, my car's been running really sh1t lately so I stuck it into Nissan to find out what's wrong (I know!! but Baggins is on holiday! :( ) They have said it's the Mass Air Flow sensor, but they want £562.28 for it (fitted!!) My question is, are these straightforward to fit myself? (As far as I remember I had to remove and refit it when I fitted my induction kit?) Quick answers appreciated as Nissan are waiting for an answer!!

My Z31 300 broke down recently and I was hoping for advice from someone . As I was driving along (at about 25mph) I heard a single clunk from the engine /gearbox and the engine cut - out . After coasting around the corner I tried to re-start it but to no avail . The engine turns over but fine but is not firing up at all . Any assistance would be much appreciated as the three mechanics that have looked at it were as useful as a solar powered torch .

Not long had my Z'd and was aware that the aircon wasn't working. The guy who sold it to me said it would just need re-gassing, however, I've just had a specialist out to do the deed and when he pressure tested it he found that the aircon radiator was leaking and would need replacing. So my question is how much of a job is it to get out and replace, has anyone had to do it, and has anyone got one for sale?

Out of interest, I have a 1991 Lwb TT jap import, at the business end of the throttle cable on top of the engine it looks as though there is space for another cable. The car is running fine, I take it there is not meant to be another cable, what is the other 'cradle' for?

Hello, I have just purchased a 300zx twin turbo auto 1991. It drives lovely and sounds amazing, however, when I fully open the throtle it seems like it is hitting a limiter at around 6000rpm and it does not change gear straight away. Has anybody had this problem and does anyone has any iodeas of what it could be? I have disconected the battery to see if I could reset the ECU, thinking that it could be something to do with the memory, but that hasn't worked.

Forum.......... Can anyone help me with pics of an autobox oil-cooler upgrade as my car will be having this done soon. I found one how-to but it has no pics Thanks

  24. Started by mines twinturbo,

Hi Forum, Thanks for the recent advice re: my 92 JDM TT auto. Due to my long journey's 300+ miles 90-100mph (german autobahns of course) and the posts from the forum my car is now booked in for an autobox oil cooler upgrade while I get my EBC sport disc upgrade done. As I was talking to my mechanic he asked me if I wanted cooler iridium plugs fitted as I am also getting a full main service done (minus belts - they were done last month when water pump gave up - RIP). Transmission oil will be replaced, diff oil too. Given my cars spec are the colder plugs a good idea, what will they do? Will they make Detonation less likely? allow the car to run cooler? Spec:…
