I just put 130w bulbs in my fogs, had to put a 30amp fuse in instaed of the stock 15 as it blew straight away. They look great and bright as fook, Am i safe or asking for melted lights and/or an electical fire? :rolleyes:

Hi all Whats the best way to disable your engine from starting for a few seconds to allow the oil pressure to come up. I only use my car at weekends and it always catches immediatley and revs to 1500 rpm for a few seconds. This must cause wear if the engine is not run for a week. Any ideas? I don't mind disconnecting something temporarily but it must be easy to get at and not throw up ECU errors.

sorry for my ignorance but here we go i have fitted an apexi filter to my 92 N/A and i was expecting a different sound than the standard box but sounds the same i think i read that updating the re-circ valves would change the tone. is this right ? I have a gurgling sound from my nearside wing and i have been told that this is the re- circ valve probably with a cracked case cheers

hi guys not sure if there is anyone here who has knowledge of car alarms, but I have a laserline alarm (not sure what model) fitted on my Zed and when the weather is hot it keeps setting off the alarm, is there any adjustment I can make myself?? thanks Lee

Hi everybody just trying to find out any common faults that 300zx have, to look out for when buying one, I have just got rid of my 92 honda prelude 2.2vtec and im running bout in a citroen ax saving my pennies up for a 300zx TT. Reckon should be next summer when i saved enough up so am just wanting an idea of what to look out for when buying one. thanks for taking the time to at this!!!

can you have a single exhaust? or must there be one each side? (remember something about a H pipe @ the fron or summin) any ways, what is the best option. 1. LOUDNESS (do blitz make the NuR for the 300?) 2. something that enhances that V6 sound in an engine. 3. love to be able to rev an hear a sound like a superbike, hi pitched as fckuk. whats about guys?

first of all hi to everyone. ive loved the 300ZX for ages, when it was time for me to buy a car i chose a different car instead of the 300 because i was scared of the petrol consumption. so i chose the 200SX. (next best thing?) 1. is the 300 that bad on petrol compared to a 200SX? 2. heared that pistons need replacing frequently on a 300, this true? 3. any tips you have for me. (PS if i get one it would have to be a TT manual) thanks.....

I recently purchased a modified 1990 2 + 2, it now has a 1993 Jspec TT engine in it - this is uniques as it is a LHD body. I talked wit ha couple of local Nissan shops about my A/T indicator light flashing. When I turn the key on the indicator goes on for 2 seconds and then flashes 16 times, I can not find anything on this and the shops manuals are for US / Canada cars. Seeing as how this is an imported engine and transmission and a completely custom fit, I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what this code is. I read somewhere that it may be the speed sensor.... Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Chris

Hi, Had my Z a couple of weeks now, at full boost there seems to be a high pitched whistling noise which I thought may be normal, however I have also noticed that my boost gauge is only going up to 0.5 bar rather than the 0.6 it should be! Is this a boost leak, if so what can be done? Or could it be something else? Cheers Paul.

Does anybody know what the 'mist' switch on rear wiper does? When i press mine the wiper swipes but nothing else. Also, where the hell is the top-up tank for the headlight washers, is it separate from the windscreen tank. UK spec Z'd

Why do things always go wrong when its pissing it down :( coming home from work and notice a groaning noise and feel vibration through pedals - next thing steering goes heavy and feels really lumpy. Stop off at local motor factor and buy some Comma AQF Automatic transmission Fluid that I was told is for all power steering pumps etc. Fill it up - nearly 1 litre of the stuff - 30 secs later all feels fine again. 2 miles later groaning and heavy steering again. Any ideas on where to start looking - when it stops piggin raining. Just had another look and it isnt empty this time yet its making all the smae noises as before? Drove ok all the way home aft…
