Have been told that they are on their way out and need new ones... How costly are the parts and also how much labour is involved...

    if its what i'm thinkin off ( the front tension rods , i think you call em ) you can either get em second hand , off ricerocket about £50 or so , or as I have done replaced them with a set of teins to complete my suspension set up - about £200... hope that helps
