Thinking of maybe selling my Zed. Time and use has been very limited. Just wondering what you guys think the market is like atm for zeds? Obviously had a lot of work done to get it manual, inc brand new 99spec gearbox. Still needs a few cosmetic bits done.

Hey all, Got my Z back in July and have just gotten around to fixing some things up on her. Currently trying to get the airbox out so I can remove the condenser fan, but have been hitting a metaphorical and literal snag in that I can't get this thing out. Anyone know what I could do from here? I'm worried I'll end up breaking even more things if I use more force than I have been...

Hi, I’m considering buying a 300zx, the car looks good in pictures however the owner sent me some pictures of the underneath and something on the frame rail didn’t look right. Please see attached pictures, it’s a one owner car and as I said looks pretty good otherwise. Had 120,000 miles ish. I can’t even tell where this would be on the car as I am not familiar enough with these cars……yet. It’s a long drive to see and pickup. Please help.

This year, we have two cars on display - mine and Jason's (PastorJay). We're going back to basics again, just the cars and some banners - but at least we made it; and we'll definitely make the most of the show. The organisers are also very pleased with us, as we managed to sell 49 tickets using our club discount code, our best year yet by miles! So thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, we're in hall 3, stand 3-050, between the MR2 owners club and the Classic Zed Register. We look forward to seeing you over the weekend.... But for now, some taster pics😉

Hi everyone! I recently bought a project 300zx TT Jap import in pearl white from a salvage auction it has a full Veilside combat bodykit and wheels. I am doing my best to restore it to its original condition however theres some damage to the front end on the nearside and the shell is slightly damaged and a mechanic I've spoken to thinks it wouldn't be able to be pulled completely and would be best to find a shell and weld it onto the current one just before the front strut for the cleanest repair. If anyone has a shell thats undamaged on the front nearside I'd definitely be interested! I'm based in the south west of the UK. I am also in the process of repairing the origin…

Hi, just had grave news about my 1995 Fairlady. Seems that on top of the £8000 of work needed doing, the head gasket needs replacing as gas tests have found poor results in chambers 2 and 4. Anyone want to buy a project. Also got a shed load of spares. Robin

Hi All, I am starting a medium restoration on my Z soon. I was hoping for recommendations for part suppliers. I will need: Engine bay: injectors, plugs, leads, fuel lines, scuttles, filters, and gaskets Brakes: calliper overhaul, discs and pads, braided brake lines Suspension: shocks and springs General: bushing kit, door and headlight rubbers and seat restoration. The car is having a full engine out respray and the engine will be dressed to as near new as possible. Wish me luck!

My 93 Non Turbo manual 300zx, the car won’t start.. We replaced the crank angle sensor with another used one. And bench tested the PTU. When the problem first started, it just wouldn’t get a spark. We first replaced the crank angle sensor. After checking everything else I replaced the CPU with a used one. After doing that the car would start for one to two seconds. We checked the fuel pressure after the pressure regulator and it is good. At this point, I’m wondering if I still have a bad CPU. And was wondering if anyone knew how to bypass the CPU to allow it to run or if anyone has had this issue.

Hi folks, With the NEC show barely a month away, I am looking for one or two volunteers to help man the stand on the Friday and Saturday (7th and 8th of November) to give the exhibitors a little cover. There is a free wristband on offer for you and a companion, on the day(s) in question, so you can also explore the show whilst there. With tickets costing around £40 each, this is a great chance to see the show for free whilst doing us a little favour in return. There is a catch, of course - this is open to subscribed members only.... ....But if you are not a full member you can still subscribe now in order to participate! Please let me know if you want to participate. Than…

A couple of weeks late, but last month we took the Zed on a little trip to the Isle of Wight..... ......Luckily the weather was favourable - and we also met up with our old friend Groover (Graham Jones) and his partner. He still has his yellow Zed, along with a couple of spare cars - one day he'll have the yellow one back on the road. Hopefully LOL But the reason for the post, as always, is to share some Zed pics - in no particular order, here they are 😉

So just watched this posted on FB by Nick. I actually enjoyed it but as a seasoned zed owner i was cringing and shouting instructions at my screen First thing i thought about the engine noise was the lifters, as being sat for so long they likely have seized up with lack of oil. Buy hey, lets strip the whole front, no harm as they age of the car, i would have done all belts, oil and water pumps while i'm at it. Second cringe was the usage of a electric screwdriver on the tensioner, and just as i was shouting dont do that, snap - told you, lol. The mistakes they made actually made is a great video.

we also are not getting the fuel injectors to activate. However, the fuel pump is working. My 1993 Z 32 was running fine and I turned the engine off and went to start again and it would not start. We have replaced the crank angle sensor with a with a used one and also tested it and it appears to be working. The fuel pump is working. The TPU also appears to be working when doing a bench test. we checked the the ECU and red error code 11 and 13, or refers to the crank angle sensor circuit and cylinder head temperature circuit. I get a 5v reading out of the CAS then gets interrupted when spun by hand, but the injectors are not firing. I has 12v to the coil packs aswell. S…

I have a spare forged engine build that paperwork says has Jim Wolf Cams and Springs. Does anyone know if these markings confirms this or not. the only thing i can see is the yellow paint which seems to match. As i'm building up my primary engine again i'm thinking about transplanting these to the main build too.
