How come no one sees me ! I'm about everywhere in my Z when I get the chance. Invisible Zed Rules !

Hi Y'all.. Can anyone tell me how many miles the 300z's engines good for? (I know piece of string and all that, but genarally?) and what and when- as in how many miles is best to be done/replaced on the engine? Going to take a look at a Z at the weekend - its a UK model with 83,000 miles on , no rust and a Full service history apparently... Thanks Ed

Hi, I noticed that my Zed is missfiring/stuttering a bit when I plant my foot. It's also running a bit rich. And I noticed today that it also gave out a bit of a burning smell when I booted it?!? Any ideas why this is happening? Cheers, Bart..

ok, if i dont buy a turbo timer i have read you should take on no boost to let them cool off, how do i do this

Hi folks, I av a small problem with my boot. It doesn't want to completely lock down? Has anyone else had this prob? I have done basic checks to see if there is anything in the way. No joy!! It seems to semi-lock but when driving around it flaps around........ uckin' annoying!! :headvswal Any ideas Mr.Miagi?! Mantis

How good are they and what exactly do they do?

Does changing the diff size and wheels through the speedo out by much?? If so how do you get round this?

can you guys plz plz help just taken my headlights out to clean insides and....................................... CONDENSATION :headvswal when ive put them back in they were fine till i turned on my headlights anybody know what i can do to sort this out cheerz!!!!!

ive just tryed another fuel pump ecu but it hasnt made any difference car still wont start however if i bridge the fuel pump relay i can hear the pump prime, but if i were to connect relay back on & turn key pump wont prime, i have tryed another relay checked all fuses and reset ecu, also i took fuel hose off the fuel dampener and cranked car few times & there was no fuel coming out not even a drop, so the only time i can hear fuel pump is if i bridge the green relay, so what can it be ?? all advice/suggestions appreciated

just replaced the crappy horns with two tone ones of a landrover discovery that ive got in my field. sounds immense now!! every one should change their horn if they havnt already! oh and i found that the I/C wasnt just a little burst, it was totally crushed and leaking like hell! and its been like that since i got it so that should make a power of difference now when i get a spare one in! all that metered air was just blowing out so the mixture would be well rich. explains why its always been a little sluggish on the boot!

Hey all Fairlady folks´s :tongue: Need a lil´info here from my buddies; what is the cheapest insurance you guys pay for your 300ZX? this month I will be moving to Bedfordshire finally, and was trying to get info on different insurance companies..I have been with my spanish insurance since 1991 and never had a single wreck or damage so I have all my bonuses,they will give me a bonus letter so that it can be applied to my insurance here in the Uk. But I would be so appreciated if you guys could suggest me what insurance company would be the best cheapest to insurance the 300zx,, that is not full risk, only to third party.. hope to hear from all of ya!! :duff…

Driving in my car the other day and i suddenly lost all brake pressure :shock: luckily i was only doing about 20mph so it wasn't to bad. just had a look and one of the pipes to the rear brakes has corroded where it goes through a white plastic clip almost directly under the drivers seat. How easy is it to replace the pipe? is it one pipe that runs the length of the car? Will a local garage have a replacement? Thanks, Stuart.

Hi all, I've got some noticable play in the driver's side rear wheel hub. It's an N/A so no HICAS issues. Definitely seems to be the wheel bearing but I've been advised (by Zed World) to replace the entire hub for a secondhand one rather than go through the expensive of fitting new bearings. Has anyone removed and replaced the wheel hub before? If I can get a second hand one, would it be something I could do myself? A garage has recently tightened the wheel hub nut which should hopefully mean it isn't rusted solid. Cheers, Ian A.

when the car is sitting with the engine running the revs seem fine, however if i touch the accelarator there's a quick drop before they go up. And idea what this could be?

Can anyone tell me what the TPS voltage should be at WOT, I'm getting 3.94v at WOT Idle should be 0.44v, I'm getting it flicking between .38 and .40 so that needs adjusting CheerZ Paul

I'm thinking about having a new clutch & cam belt fitted to my 92 tt slick top SWB before Spring. I'm based near Biggar (boarders ish). Can any body point me at a good repair man and what would the job cost approx.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction to find the ECU connector pin outs on the online manual ? Can't find it CheerZ Paul
