years ago i had a set of headlamp bulb covers which simply slip over your headlamp / main beam bulb to make it another colour. I saw them again on the Knightsbridge Z at Santa Pod and again on the Z in Redline magazine. i've emailed them to see where they got them from, but am waiting a response. Do any of you guys 'n' girls know where i could get a set. I want a blue set..... thanks Andy.

waits for all the knowledgable ones to groan - i know this has been asked alot, and there are quite a few treads on it, but just wanted to check im looking in the right places. looking at the bottom of the block, with the pulley end nearest me. i have 2 2 2 2 stamped on the left hand side, level with the bearings. i also have what looks like its written in permanent marker, on the crank (journals?). - from the pulley end 51 1 ** 88. ( ** is there a number missing here?) am i looking in the right areas? the numbers themselves will change, as i will be getting the crank balanced and lightened, but take it i will need to know thes…

Anyone know or able to measure an engine with the gearbox attached? Need length width and height. Or a rough but good guess will do. I'm picking up an engine with gearbox together at the weekend and looking at my options on how to move it.

How easy is it to fit one of them alloy lightweight pulleys? Anyone know whats involved or a simple howto sheet :) I got one on my old zed that I wanna put on my new 'un. Id prefer to do it myself but if its gonna take too long or be too hard Ill pay someone to do it. Cheers *EDIT* 1.Done a search and found some bits out - still cant find a fitting guide. 2.Would one of my UK TT bolt straight on to a J-Spec TT with same belts? 3.Is there any way of identifying if my uk one is an unorthodox one?

Probably mostly aimed at the guys looking at NOS, but heard great things about Intercooler sprays... think they use CO2 or NOS and they cool the Intercooler simply by spraying the vanes... this in turn (obviously) reduces the temp of the air going through... meaning you could run more boost on stock turbos as the heating isnt such an issue... Just wondering if they worth the cash or the NOS be better going into the cylinders....? Also does the Zed have much space round the coolers for something like this / bigger wing mounted coolers?

Follow up post to my profec troubles guys... Im going to check every line to do with the boost system i can find tomorrow from the profec forward, but the instructions do not cover a twin turbo fitting and im not massively familar with the zed TT engine. Can anyone give me an idea where the T pieces should go, as well as the profec filter and anything else that im likely to need to check. Pictures would be a bonus, but happy for anything that could help me check the system. Cheers guys
