Was wondering what the external diameter of the boost jets are. I've turned some up at work on the lathe and currently they are 6mm. Roughly the same size as a 0.22 bullet. Cheers

ok i want one, the tailgate replacement tubs from the zed centre. how much effort/money would it cost to fit one on a LWB z? anyone done it?

For gauges to go from the centre console to: oil pressure/temp water pressure/temp boost The ones a want only come in capillary and 7ft, 9ft and 12ft lengths Which lengths would I want?

Guys it as cold as witches tit here this morning and I took the Z on the school run :eek: what i heard all the way there and back was that horrible graunching from the front paasenger side suspension. In order to solve this problem which has been around for a while, (both sides on and off mostly on cold mornings), My car has been fully re-bushed, got brand new upper control arms and new dampers all round. :headvswal I just cannot think what the F£*% it is that is still squeaking. I push down on the wing and it squeaks sounds 10X worse inthe car. Now getting paranoid about tension rods shearing off the lower control arms etc. (mind going everywhere). I get a shimmy …

As above.... does anyone know where we can get a direct port kit for the Z? i already have a twin foger system... but just want something a bit safer!

hi guys, i'm looking to remove my viscious fan,is there an electric fan kit for the zed or is it a universal thing? also i will be running a lightened underdrive pulley which i hear slows down the water pump,should i upgrade my radiator at the same time to stop any overheating? thanks in advance :bow: Paul

Thinking of upgrading the factory radio on my zed. Does the wiring have the standard isoblock connectors or do I need to buy an adapter?

Has any one had there arches rolled so far as to make a flare on the arch . I know you have to becareful as to how far you go with the arch roller before you split the paint heat needed.I like this drift look low with wide rear wheels or big spacers or low offset wheels - ofset is good.

Took the little yellow cap off and pulled that plastic checker out. Blew all the water out of the little slots and put it back it and pulled out to check. Seems like it miles too high?!?!?! Is there a overflow pipe or do I need to worry about it??

Why has my trust exhaust got a pipe linking the 2 systems together towards the back is this to do with backpressure.thanks taff.

I need to cut out the zorst drone as much as poss in the cabin....ive got bungs in at the mo but wanna get them outta there as it sounds awesome without them! gonna change my pads tomorrow, just wondering whether or not to also fit new rear hub shoes in there for the handbreak also? other thing is when i fit the new pads do i need to use any of that copper grease crap?? i have got a tube here just where do i put it( yes i know not on the front of the pad!!) but if i use it where and how much. thanks guys.. bigsi

Should i be worried I fitted a new chip into the ecu.Before I fitted it all was well now its been fitted im getting 16 short flashes from the power light I cant start the car at the moment because the gearbox oil cooler is dissconected is this flashing anything to be worried about have I damaged my ecu in someway??

question, how much power roughly will standard internals take? i mean reasonably safely not, absolute on the limit! cheers

OK before I start stripping away parts I dont need, can anyone show me the place I need to install this oil plate I have coming to fit my oil pressure/temperature gauges. Its pretty obvious, but I will need to empty/change the oil when I do this wont I. Thanks in advance, Dave G

hi about 7 weeks ago i changed my ptu for another series 1 because i thought it was causing running probs, such as lumpy idle and missfire. the one i put in had a constant missfire and one day it just cut out on the drive, and never restarted so i bought a new ptu from the states which never showed up so i got one off vijay with the wiring, put it on and is still wont start i have put more petrol in it checked all the fuses but it just wont start, there is a smell of petrol from the exhaust? i am at a total loss :cry: anyone got any ideas where to start, or what to do? all help greatly appreciated. Whos done it and how do you get your car up high enough and level? Or just put it in a garage???
