hi what is the best Exhaust to get for my n/a and which to stay away from. cheers

I'm not definitely going to do this but I have considered replacing the OEM belts with red ones to continue my interior colour theme, has anyone looked into doing this? Just wondering where I would get red belts from.

I can hear hear the relay inside the door clicking, does that mean it's working, any ideas??

Spent the day removing the dash to replace the heater matrix. I know it can be done without removing it but I decided to remove everything so it would be easier. I'm sorry I ever started it. The main box which houses the matrix won't come out, I don't actually know what to do now . if anyone can look at the pic and advise me what do next, or pm me a phone number if they have done this job successfully with the whole dash removed i would be very grateful.i've given up for the night in pure frustration, tomorrows another day I guess. I'm just thick i reckon cheers.

Does anyone know if there is a panal that contains 6 light clusters ? ie 2 indicators, 2 stop/tail 1 reverse and 1 fog .

I still have the original Panasonic battery in my zed and i think it cant give enough juice to my HID lights. What ampage replacement battery should i get? I have a nearly unused (being recharged now) Halfords 520A battery from my old Alfa Romeo 164. Is this pokey enough?

... To tell if all cylinders are firing, without using a computer? The car is low rev'd on idle (around 500rpm ish) and often stalls. Also, what other things could be involved for it being so low? Many thanx Rob

hi people, hope you all are fine and having some quality time with your zeds.im having some serious problems with mine all at once. problems are as follows: - power steering oil leak leak in exhausts oil leak water leak yesterday my car started leaking water and i checked which pipe is was. its the pipe at the rear middle section on the engine. there is really tiny whole in the rubber pipe and leaks out water quite rapidly. this leak affected my car quite severely im guessing because the cars engine gave out alot of steam while driving yesterday and then just stopped.now the car does not even start.i could smell alot of burnt oil and petrol when i ope…

I will soon have a full set of KYB AJX suspension and springs coming, and just wanted to know if anybody can provide links and tips they have come accross when replacing theirs?? The suspension I will be replacing is just stock stuff, also I have read bits and pieces regarding lowered suspension can put out the tracking and balancing, causing very uneven tyre wear?? but have also read only if its lowered by more than 25mm which hopefully it should'nt be. :duffer:

how easy is one of these to fit as this morning i seemed to loose a cylinder and when i wiggled the injector connector on no 3 cylinder the misfire went away. its ok for the moment but im thinking of changing the harness. anybody ever done one and could give me a hand if i need to replace :bow:

My zed is burning oil. :cry: It ONLY does it at idle and it is worse if the engine is cold, the longer the journey the less it seems to burn. I still have pressure which appears to be at normal levels. It does not burn enough that I have to re-fill the oil but obviously it needs fixing. Its embarrassing to be stuck in traffic smoking like an iraqi oil well. I just had boost jets and re-map and a full stainless system but have only driven the car a couple of times since this was all done and have driven it slowly as the clutch is about to be replaced. I pray its not the turbos but it does not seem to smoke when on boost, only at idle. Valve seals? Anyone know how m…

is it normal for my lifty up thing (between the two seats used for storage and cant think of the word) to be finished in tweed as i have leather? it just looks a bit odd.

Pulled into a petrol station today and low and behold, there was a gunmetal zed, guy didnt even acknoledge me when I nodded at him. Shame I was gona give him my off side front wing as his was dammaged. Pretty sure he isnt a member on here. Oh well, thats the 1st tiem Ive not got a nod from a fellow 300zx owner

got this from Chris last week and put it on the other night. I now know why other cars i've seen it with have it on the metal below the rear lights and not the pvc. I love it in this position but don't think the adhesion will last. dot of superglue maybe but scared it will run down onto the plastic and burn it. stay or go??

Just wondering what my engine would be worth, its a UK TT (was auto), has 70k on the clock and has always been a great strong engine. Its always been a little bit tappety, but nothing to bad. It has stock turbo's on, which sometimes smokes when left idling. Its had regular oil changes and has lightened pulley set and recent timing belt. Also, whats UK manual box worth, with all parts for the conversion, this has a new RPS street clutch, new pivot ball and lightened flywheel. Not for sale yet, just looking at what options are open for me. Thanks Barry

I bought mycar 2 yearsago. It is a red 1990 Gplate Nissan 300 ZX UK spec. When Ibought the car I knew the turbos were not good. So I sent away for reconditioned turbos and had them replaced with a reputable mechanic. Thiscost me nearly£2000 as youcan appreciate I could afford much more. Thecar seems to backfire sometimes and does not run correctly, ie no power hardly. I have heard it may be the timing belt has slipped a digit -could this be the case and I have also adjusted the hycas to no avail. Could anyone please advise on my course of action.
