is furthest North? I've got a plan for the zed. It invloves quite a bit of work (well, for me anyway. Should be a doddle for a specialist). I originally planned to do the work myself. Just take my time and do it over a few days but I'm a bit worried it might be too much for me now. So, which zed specialist is furthest North? I dont wanna have to add a couple of hundred £££ to an already large bill for travelling etc. Cheers guys Scott

Just fitted boost jets (1mm) but not getting any extra boost :( . I fitted them to the pipes that go into the boost pipes closest to the radiator, is that right. Still getting around 7 PSI. As an after thought, could it be running on safety boost ?? I've just re-checked th ejet fitting guide and sure that I have them in the right place..

Noticed when i had my stuipid spare wheel out that at some point it must have been put away wet... the area it sits in was rusty, but thankfully its only surface so sanded and sprayed today with hammerite straight to rust.. thought id mention it as quite often this area doesnt get looked at one year to the next... saved alot of work at a later date if it had been missed..!!

After reading the weight saving thread, im really tempted to take out my spare tyre... thing is if i just get a few cans of tyreweld is this legal? and also if i do have a flat tyre that the tyreweld stuff wont fix (ie sidewall damage) then will the rac come out witha space saver..? or am i up sh1t creak without a paddle? Wondering how many other people have gone for this day to day?

Im getting tired of my zed being slightly too noisey so ive decided to soundproof the car... ive got a small amount of dynamat for the boot space (around the spare wheel) but have noticed that either side of the boot there is a gap between the inside of the car and the outside wing. Im going to fill this space with something to try and keep some of the exhaust note out of the car... thing is what to put in the space? Ive heard of people using insulating material (loft type stuff) and expansion foam... just wondering what is going to be light but effective....

I noticed just over a week ago that the clutch bite point seemed to be a bit higher than it should be. Thought at first it was my imagination, but wasn't entirely sure. Next time I'll trust my instincts I think. Anyway, driving along this morning I noticed that if I was going at 70 or 80 in 4th or 5th and then booted it the revs would suddenly jump about 1000rpm, then drop back down and start steadily climbing again as the car accelerates. This was particularly obvious in 4th gear at 80mph (almost exactly 4000rpm). The revs jumped to around 5000rpm and then down to 4200 or so before steadily climbing. So anyway, new clutch. The car is still quite driveable at the mom…

The problem is i go to Spain tomorrow for 6 weeks.
