Hey. Potentially stupid question....how do I determine the year of my Z32 via the vin number?

Bought a new turbo timer today and removed the old razo one which has been dead since i had the car.Fitted new one and it worked straight off......brilliant!!!!! :D However...when i turned key to off it wouldnt let me take it out of the ignition barrel until timer counted down and engine was off? its an import tt and apparently they have an ignition lock which prevents key being removed unless u press a small button on the barrel.There must be a way of fooling this lock into thinking the engines off so i can get the keys out or the timers a waste of time....Any ideas? someone must have fitted one....cheers..Jase

when i hit 4-5k rpm it seems as if the car is choking, any ideas?? cheers dudes

Has anyone got these from luke (z centre ) having spoken to him the layout is that the outer ring of small bulbs are used as brake lights with the inner single bulb the tail light. Has anyone changed this around and used the outer ring of lights as the tail lights and using a higher wattage bulb made the inner single light the brake light ? May all sound confusing but to anyone who has done this you will understand ! Thanks.

As above, does anyone know/recommend a good automotive upholsterer that would re-cover my steering wheel in leather? Preferable in the midlands, but would consider anywhere. TIA Dave

I managed to remove one side, obviously the one which has been already changed on my car .... I don't manage to remove the other one, completely stuck. I put a 17mm wrench on the other side on the "width accross flats" rod end but it starts to splip and to crush it !! If I continue, my rod end will smash. I put a ton of WD40, I torched it, it doesn't come loose. Any help ?

as above.... im looking at getting a new clutch as mine slips when i turn on my Nos, and i was looking at getting a lightened flywheel as well.... just wondered what mine was standard!

Am in guessing right that on a stock suspension Z the following alloy sizes should be ok with no wheel arch rolling needed and thus a straight forward fit: Fronts 8.5 x 18 Rears 10 x 18 Can anyone please verify tyre sizes on the above. I would be grateful if someone could reply back to me soon as would like to order alloys this week. Hoping to buy some Azevs.

Hi guys, me again. Can you help? i removed the front bumper to fit new intercooler and dump valves. My problem is i have forgotten the path the headlight washer piping takes behind the bumper area. As i want to refit it. Has anyone got any pics or info on how the piping fits from the washer to the outlets? Regards Kev

Hi all - had a bit of a Traffic Light GP tonight - only as i was in the left lane only and i wanted to go straight on - wouldnt of normally..needless to say i beat the other car into the straight lane, but i just thought after, it was a pretty slow start, dont get me wrong im thrilled to bits with the acceleration of the Z but when i put my foot down it didnt seem to want to do anything for a second..i suppose new spark plugs (dont know how old mie are, must get them replaced) , new air filters or induction kit would be a start to help.. :duffer:

Are these good upgrade from stock. I have a set bought by the garage that damage my Nismo's. I have called the company they order it from - apparently its a UK company and they claim its direct replacement but just need fuel re-map which I already got via Ztech. Any one used them or running them in their car? Thanks Ade

Black Z with after market spoiler (according to my girlfriend). This car has been spotted twice in the Dussindale area of Norwich.

Looked at all the existing threads, but haven't seen an answer to this question: Have decided to go down the replacement chip route, but some threads say the speedo needs to be changed for a UK one. Why is that, what's the issue if I don't change the speedo straight away. Will it cause auto box problems with incorrect signals all over the place or what?. If it's just incorrect speed then I'm not worried about that as I can use my GPS. Also, I spotted a post that said changing the 33K R10 resistor to a 20K one will convert the speedo to a UK one. Anyone done this, did it work. Cheers folks, maybe soon I'll be able to answer questions rather than keep asking …

Can someone recommend a good body shop within London or Greater London who can fit my bodykit and do a full colour change respray. Need some quotes as completely ignorant of pricing. Any leads or rough price guides on what is acceptable would be appreciated. Thanks

I have installed network cards on my PC and laptop and set up a network however the PC shows "Limited or no connectivity..." I have Windows XP Service Pack 2 and tried the hotfix however no joy. Any other suggestions please?
