who's is the red Z been parked outside Autotune in Hedge end for ages now... (Got like checker'd flag design on it....) just wonderin if its like got something major wrong wif it... (been there for at least 2 weeks now...) :( Plate starts with ROB so rob, i take it its u..... but the question is..... who is rob? :) :dance:

As the engine is out it makes sence to rebuild the engine but what is actually needed? i want to hold big hp, the tubs which are on order should hold between 550-600bhp ish. I know the obvious parts which need replacing but what about other bits. I've been looking on sites do i need to replace any of the following? Valve Springs Titanium Retainers Valve Guides Crankshaft Master Valves

currently i have Dump valves on the turbo pipes at the top of the engine. If i was to remove these and connect the standered wastegates back up would it make the cool wastegate sound rather than the dump valve noise? Also what are the best? My brother done this on his 200sx and his wastgates sound awesome and they are standered.

Done a search on this and seems as usual there is a problem with camber when lowering . Adjustables sort this! Problem is mine is standard ride height,standard rims and is running bad negative camber to the point were the inner 60mm of the tyres are slicking out with thousands of miles left on the rest of them. I know it can run out with age and a mechanic friend has suggested that if it is original front shockes and springs they may just be knackered and causing the problem. Anyone think this is correct or is there a more sinister problem going on?

Silver Z 4exhausts near BP hounslow west heading towards Feltham went round the roundabout twice, Z moved very quick must say sounded good too. We was parked up in BP red Z and Purple/Blue Z Yesterday.

ive got a set of bilstein shocks on the front an on one the bottom bush has gone the shocks part number is 636 1481 h001 would i be able to get a new bush or have i gotta get a new shock?

Anybody know who supplies the series 1 replacement spoiler the cheapest. Got a price of £175 but sure i saw them for £125 some were?

My water pump has just gone pop,shit and steam everywere. Hope i have not cooked it. Got off the road and switched it off asap. Anybody had one replaced and how much did it cost? Mine is an NA so not sure if it is the same as the tt or maybe maxima?

Finally seen another one. Pulled up next to a silver Z in the Stirling Services, I was on the CBR though :xxx: . It was a G reg, looked and sounded in very good condition. Dave G

Stupid question probably. Are these all diifferent so that I can check the correct engine is in my car or do they just indicate the engine type ie.twin turbo or NA etc. Also where is it to be found I don't have my car at the mo but will be checking it on tuesday. Sorry if this is genuinely silly!! Rob

Hi all, Very strange.... when driving normally, there's been no problem(autobox), however when leaving the car on idle for about 5 minutes or more the exhaust starts bellowing out smoke. :( Any ideas? Could this be a turbo seal going or something much worse? (my motor has covered about 75k...) Of course I'll be getting it checked out shortly but wondered if anyone else had this happen? :rolleyes: cheers, Quadsmarty!

Well this bloody Z is starting to take the mick Windows working fine yesterday got in it today (very hot day) and my window would not go down? Any ideas, I cant see it being the switch and I doubt there is a fuse per window? It makes a very quiet clicking noise when you press the button but that could be the motor or the button lol

Where is this in the engine bay, I want to remove the hose from the solenoid to check if it's working at all, but have no idea where it is. Ta.

I'm fitting my profec b 2 boost controller and have hit a snagg.Am i right in saying i connect to the "com" and "No" ports.The problem is i also have an "NC" port, do i plug this?There is no plug supplied with the kit and only 2 connectors.Thanks in advance. Was travelling along the A46 dual carriageway and got the chance to power away and a large plume of smoke came out the back end, 'Oh, dear!' I thought, 'I may have blown a turbo!' So kept the speed down, and didn't notice any problems with the engine in any way, so when i got to my destination I left her running and checked all round her. No oil leaks, no smell of burning oil from either zorst, but there was smoke coming from underneath her! Anyway, that was the other week, I've had her up on ramps since then and, although we could see signs of oil, couldn't see anywhere that it might be coming from! But it is defo landing on the Cats, hence the burning. Did the same …

started to clean all connections...and the injector connections (2 prong) are covered in the green corrosive stuff..is it me or do you have to take all the vacuum pipes etc to get at the connector on the passenger side nearest top? any other way of doing it? thanks

just going over the car now (long story but it hasnt been running properley for a while...ie runs mega rough and has no power to drive) and im cleaning all the connectors...this one is really dirty plus the wires are split...what is it for? (will do diagnostic check once battery is charged) car is tt manual thanks for any help

I need your help guys and gals. I started exploring Dare Alloys and Azevs however the waiting times are a bit long as I need a full set sooner than later. However, can you all give me some steer and recommend alloys with a fair bit of deep dish with 5 or even 6 spoke design. I am hoping for 19 inches. Ok, before everyone recommends Racing Hart and the exotics beyond my financial means, I was hoping for to buy them with a budget of about £1500 with tyres, ie. poor man's alloys range. Any ideas and recommendations and also a supplier would be extremely grateful. Thanks...
