HELP! my drivers side door lock is jammed i think the motor is sezied. I am trying to remove the door card without the door open and its proving difficult! i have tried pulling really hard on the cable that unlocks the door but it wont budge. The key turns the lock both ways fine but doesnt unlock the door. central locking is dead and does nothing, where is the fuse for the central locking? Also if it was just the fuse you would still be able to unlock the door manually right? So far i have managed to get the door card off some of the way but its almost impossible, there are 2 small screws that i just cant get to. Has anyone got a black leather/gr…

Its happen 3 times now, I put my foot down on a motor way its start going and cuts out and kicks in (like hitting the rev counter), the person before used to run it on empty so i was thinking it was crap. It never happened when flooring it in 1-2 etc but at 3,4 etc it does, it does nto stall, jsut coughs and splutters Any ideas?

Basically guys just took my car out on a private road at work and did a few runs from mid 30mph upto cirac 100 then down and up again to 90 etc and the log file is attached. Interested to know what people that play it back think really (ive hada go but not sure what im looking at for some stuff.) The O2 sensors seem to be doing funny things when im not pushing the throttle, but not sure if im displaying the right ones for datascan really as if you overlay them on the graph they dont really agree sometimes :confused: Also after this warm up tried my first few 0-60s (ever) and managed a time of 6.2sec which i dont think is great, got a bit of wheel spin on that …

got caught out on the motorway the other day, was absolutely pissing it down and about an inch of standing water all the way, now she started miss firing the other day, im thinking maybe ive sokaed my maf/afm? i have a hks mushroom intake and ive heard theyre a bit of a bitch for soaking in water, i havnt driven her for a couple of days, is it likely to dry out and be ok, or is it doomed? thinking maybe once its sorted a splash guard and an apexi might be an idea? j

Been trying to measure the g-force when I accelerate with my gtech pro. Anyone got one and tried playing around? What is the max you can get. I was going to give up modding car when I got to 1g but can only get 0.8 at moment, might have to get nitrous.

Wanted to know if I need to purchase a oil sandwitch plate to fit my new gauge??

Took a look at my autobox sump and it seems to have a sump plug fitted to it, my car is a 91 year and i was told that these didnt have sump plugs fitted so im thinking either later autobox or sump housing...did the later boxes come with a sump plug? Suppose i will find out when I undo it what it is :nono: Also is there anywhere that do sump plugs that are mag plugs as well? Thanks

Out early this morning on the private track, managed a 5.65, 5.75, 4.93 and then in an attempt to beet the 4.93 i had a bit of a burnout and got 7.07. All in all i'm well chuffed, I had hoped to achieve roughly what i got on the first run. Question, in data display mode i am not getting any readout for duty cycle, could some kind hearted person explain what duty cycle is and why i seem to be getting a zero reading at a stand still and when driving slowly? does it only register at higher speeds? My car is a JDM TT 2+2 Auto with Megan decat, Blue Flame cat back, Mines ECU and Apexi induction. Thanks in advance DGM

Whilst fitting new rose jointed tension rods today, I noticed that the drivers side Transverse Link had some movement in it (suspension member end, not the wheel hub end), the nearside was solid. It moved in and out in the direction of the centre of the car to the wheel. What needs to be replaced here? Also, how easy is it to do? Thanks David

:rant: Ok Guys, As some of you may know I've been having nothing but trouble with my jap TT auto. Since December 05 I've had the timing belt split and replaced. The car ran fine for a couple of weeks and then started playing up again. It keeps dying on me (as in ,it loses power and then stops completely) The engine coolant sensor has been changed as the old one had damaged and corroded pins, the PTU has been upgraded to a series 2 item and the alternator was sent off to be repaired( had brushes replaced). I went to collect it this evening and I was told it was charging fine.. I drove for about 1 mile and the damn thing konked out again!! :rant: What the hell can i do to …
