Hi Guys I was driving around Saturday afternoon at about 2pm I think and saw a white zed infront of me. He was on the Uxbridge Road heading towards Heathrow. Sorry but I didn't get to hear it or really look at it. Spencer

My aircon was removed by a previous owner, and I want to refit aircon to the car - it's just too damn hot at the moment. I have a box of bits I got from someone after they removed their aircon, and I want to fit it all to my zed. Has anyone attempted this before? Has anyone got a list or diagram of the bits needed? What should I look out for? What order should I fit everything?

Would anyone be interested in a good set of high quality shocks for their car? I’m talking proper remote resovoir race spec monotube ali dampers, not dual tube small piston stuff like most aftermarket kits. You’d be looking at around £1250+VAT for single damping adjustment or around £1900+VAT for dual adjustable (I’ve not been able to find a dual adjustable for the Z). I'm having these made for mine anyway, so anyone interested let me know.

Sorry to ask a question thats been asked lots before, but ive searched and id just like to clear a few things up; Easy to fit? Ive read and understand that the hid bulbs go in the normal place and you connect the exisiting wiring to a balast? What temperature will give the best light for night visibility? 4300k or 6000k? Some kits mention relay harness with fuses? What are these for? Uk zeds have something called dip dim? NO idea about this or what it means for me fitting HIDs? Finally, what do people think of these ive found on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-HID-CONVERSION-KIT-H1-H3-H4-H7-H8-H11-9006-9007_W0QQitemZ320002738543QQihZ…

This is a shot in the dark but its worth a try: I am trying to find the paint name for the orange colour used on certain motor bike wheel rims. Its kind of a very bright orangy colour. The nearest I can think of is either neon orange or flourecent orange but thats a wild guess. Would anyone know more regarding this paint ? Regards,

Well the usuall setup needed is the temp gauge, electrical sender unit, and a coolant pipe sleave which holds the sensor and requires the Stock upper coolant hose to be split and the sleave fitted in it. Well, If you go for the Autogauge water temp Gauges like the one below... You only need the gauge. We tested it by running a wire from the Stock Temp gauge sender unit (located on upper alloy pipe - right hand side) and put the original Connector back on over it the gauge works perfectly with this, and we used datascan to ensure this. Both datascan Temps and the autogauge temps were accurate to around +3/ -3 degrees of each other - due to the an…

Anyone here using the Emerald M3DK engine management. Had the Holley Commander 950 system on my Chevy but had to sell it all to finance buying the Zed. Don't want to use the Holley one this time cos although it seemed very good, and very user friendly, it blew up after 3 months. Holley exchanged it ok, but it still cost loads in postage and import duty for the replacement. However, the best thing about it was the datalogging facility, which when using a wideband sensor, made mapping a doddle. I've been looking into the Emerald one but can't find any reference to datalogging. Any ideas? Ooh, bloody ell, footy's on! Bye!

  20. I have managed to fit the passenger side no problemo... But the drivers side main bolt is undone, but I cant get it out because it hits one of the pipes going into the back of my intercooler. This is a hard pipe, can I just remove it while I fit the tension arms? Also, how do I set them up? I know my adjustable camber arms can be set up on a garages laser tracking, but can the tension arms?

Does anyone have D2 Racing shocks working really well on a road car, as I’m close to admitting defeat with our bumpy roads, alternatively, does anyone have a track Z that they would be interested in a set of D2 racing shocks for? I’ll be putting them up for sale once I have sourced an alternative. Also, does anyone have any knacked standard shock that they now longer need the upper mounting hardware from (more info in the wanted section http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=75961) Thanks David

Team, My next medium term investment will be traction control. Now I've got the wider Nismo wheels on it just feels too 'on-the-edge' in the rain and i have had a few moments. How is it for those folks who have it fitted? Also what options are there for the racelogic kit (or others) and what is the price fitted? Saw a supra in a mag with a nice little rotary control in the dash - is that standard? Chris
