  1. I have managed to fit the passenger side no problemo... But the drivers side main bolt is undone, but I cant get it out because it hits one of the pipes going into the back of my intercooler. This is a hard pipe, can I just remove it while I fit the tension arms? Also, how do I set them up? I know my adjustable camber arms can be set up on a garages laser tracking, but can the tension arms?

Does anyone have D2 Racing shocks working really well on a road car, as I’m close to admitting defeat with our bumpy roads, alternatively, does anyone have a track Z that they would be interested in a set of D2 racing shocks for? I’ll be putting them up for sale once I have sourced an alternative. Also, does anyone have any knacked standard shock that they now longer need the upper mounting hardware from (more info in the wanted section http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=75961) Thanks David

Saturday night parked outside Snafu in town centre. I asked the bouncer who owned the car, he said you had just left and gone into town dohh!! Nice car mate she looks a treat. I dont think I'd risk leaving mine where you did, theres lots of idiots out there that will run a coin down a nice car like that.

I saw a White J-spec 300zx Parked in Morland road, Southampton on 9th of July at 4:25am. It looks good and obviously belongs to a Member of our Forum as it has External 300zx.co.uk stickers on its windows! :) Would be interesting to know who it belongs to?

Team, My next medium term investment will be traction control. Now I've got the wider Nismo wheels on it just feels too 'on-the-edge' in the rain and i have had a few moments. How is it for those folks who have it fitted? Also what options are there for the racelogic kit (or others) and what is the price fitted? Saw a supra in a mag with a nice little rotary control in the dash - is that standard? Chris

hello everybody, and thanks for looking at my query. i've purchased a blitz sus air induction kit, and the install is straight forward enough but what is the best policy with the other two air box pipes that i assume were part of a recirc system, should these be blanked with a gauze, removed alltogether, or what? also, some people suggest resetting the ecu when fitting any performance mod, and others say let the ecu selflearn to the the mod through normal driving once the mod is fitted, which is the definitive answer (if there is one!) do i leave the battery on or disconnect for a couple of hours? thanks again, shrew

well i finaly got round to the 4 month water leak today, turned out to be the 2 small hoses from the block to the inlet and outlet pipes :headvswal jesus the amount of work invovled to get to the fvckers is unreal. lucky for me the car has been brought up on antifreeze all its life because the 2 stubby steel pipes were like new inside and out and the only expence was a 12" piece of 32mm samco hose to replace the oem rubber, also gave me the chance to clean the rad with degreaser front and back. back together and a 20 mile blast confirmed no leaks and a steady 78-80 degree temp  total cost £5.00 for hose and £10 for coolant

  9. Team, What should I ask for a set of mint condition UK wheels (wider rear pair plus fronts). They were professionally re-furbed 2 months ago so are mint and have TOYO proxes T1R's with average of 6mm tread left on them..... They also come with 2 spare fronts with jap bridgestones with about same tread on them. So what should I ask for all 6 wheels? Chris

It's a version 2 that goes with the Dual SBC-i-D boost controller. I've never really got this working in all the years I've had it. It's facing the boost controller for it's infra-red link and I've calibrated the speed and entered the weight of the car, tried adjusting the power loss value which I was told you don't really need to mess with. Problem is the power figure it displays is way out - it says I'm peaking at about 102bhp! LOL I presume from the way it works it out that this will be an at the wheels figure and the power loss +/- setting allows you to alter this? Any ideas?

Hi all, I've damaged my rod bearing so I went with new but after 1 miles, they are dead again... So i think i'm having a problem with my crankshaft but my question is: is it better to go with a brand new one? is it good and cheaper to repair mine and run grade 1 or more bearing? Also where can I find a cranckshaft on the net? Does it exist a forged crankshaft? thank you

Just wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket upgrade to the nissan ones, and what benifit i would get from fitting an upgrade? Cheers all

Hi, Right, had my passenger back wheel off to today to investigate a scratching sound that gets rather loud the longer im driving (presumably as its gets hotter) when i brake, but then stays on for while after too, then goes off - then back on again when i brake - but the longer i drive the worse it gets and seems to stay on permanently. - hope that makes sense! Nothing i can spot instantly with the wheel off, wheel moves a bit but not that much to suggest the bearings. What i did notice, when it was on the jack with the wheel off, first i was in park hand brake on, and the pad was stuck on the disc, hmm i thought, so i took it out of park into 2nd handbrake off…

I have attached an Excel spreadsheet, giving the names of all members who have forwarded their information to me in the last three weeks (since the PM from Mike Groves). I now have your ID cards from the card printer and the additional car stickers have also been delivered. I have been offline for the past week due to work commitments, so if you have forwarded your details after 3rd July (number 100 onwards), then I'm stil waiting for your cards to be despatched. The should come this week, so everyone will get their packs before JAE weekend. I will make the packs up for numbers 1 ~ 99 on Monday and Tuesday evening, so you should have them by the end of the week. …

refitted my RAZO TT, and cant get it to work properly? It used to be on AUTO and counted down a time depending on how you drove. I can get it to work with MANUAL (i.e. set to 2 mins and it works fine). I cant get AUTO to work anymore tho - The IGN flashes so its reading the revs but no matter how long I drive for the timer will not go up? Any Ideas? There is a thin red wire that is not connected on the loom - not sure where this is meant to go.
