filling the void post spoiler change

A little help please, does anyone know of a plinth/panel available to fit to the back of the z tailgate when the '93 spec spoiler is removed? It is needed to match in with the rear light units which fit below it. I am changing to a '99 spec spoiler which sits up off the tailgate.

 

OR do I have to weld a plate in and paint that?
