I've been hunting around on the web to try and find a picture that will show me the location of the fuel temp sensor but to no avail. Can anyone tell me where it is? If you have some pics it would be even better. I need to change mine but am not sure about how much work is involved, I'm basing my decision on a lot of other work around this. Cheers guys. Alex.

Got a bit carried away and accidentally sprayed a small amount of waxoil onto the belts. No problems running however when I turn on the heater/aircon, there is a squeeling noise from the belts. Is there an easy way to get this stuff off the belt?

This is a long post - be warned! Since my engine rebuild, I must have had a boost leak and not having a TT before, I couldn't tell. I posted up about oil on one of my hard pipes, and was advised that if oil can get out -air can get in and to tighten up the clips. Well I did that and all of a sudden my boost guage has sprung into action and it picks up much better.... I took her out for the first time since fixing the leak, got out onto the M40 and put my foot down as it was empty. Usually I would have got to a cruising speed of between 90 -95 in the time I had my foot down, but to my suprise the car was off the clock (only goes to 110) and the rev coun…

Hello all, just joined the club, Love my 300zx fairaldy but she is ill. I need help big time, Exactly the same as Ronflat problems. Sorry pal, i am in same situation. Except my car was bought from a dealer only two weeks ago, and been full serviced or so they said, Very clean looking car in Charcoal grey, went to south of france, not zooming as area notorious for the french plod with cameras, that will issue a 900 euro fine on the spot or take the car as deposit. Had travelled about 400 mile's all gauges were good, no funny noises, Then totall power loss,, whenstopped the engine was glowing very hot, but the temp gauge read normal, water pouring out of expansion tank,…

Has anybody ever come across this alarm system before as its fitted to my Z and has stopped working sometime ago, I have scoured the internet for it but can not seem to find anything at all. Even the manual imobiliser key switch no longer works and this is defo worrying! I know I can get another fitted for about 2 - 300 quid but if mine is serviceable then I would rather do not spend that cash. Any help would be very much appreciated. I accidently post this in the wanted items section too....

have placed a request with mjp but thought i would ask here as well, i need to get an idea or diagram showing what pipes there are running infront and above the front crossmember as i need to replace all the oil pipes as i have a major leak coming from one of them and my mechanic says he would rather replace them all while he is at it also the power steering pipes (also at front crossmember)need replaced as someone has used fuel line to bodge it along with bl**dy jublilee clips been told not to use car in the mean time which really jerks me off as i have waited four months to get the car on the road and i have only used it for two weeks.the only good thing so far is that …

Folks, Need all the help I can get. Recently had installed a Xenon kit purchased from Luke at the Zcentre. Fabulous piece of kit. All is working fine. However, now since my lights are bluish in colour, whenever I flick my headlamps, I still get the old bulbs come on thus I am guessing your headlamps are not Xenon when you install the kit or has there been a major oversight somewhere ? Also, my front bumper side lights are still the old fashioned bulbs and don't match at all with the Xenons. Where would I get some coloured bluish bulbs to match and does anyone know what fittement/name etc. I have a Jap spec TT. Cheers !

Did any one take their pride and joy to Barmouth (Mid-Wales) today cos we saw a very tidy bright red Zed with std zorts; and a high rear spoiler with tidy rims ( multi-spoke). I think it was a late model poss L OR M reg. Then on the way home we saw a black Zed near Llan something or other; guess he was heading towards the coast. Big hairy bloke driving (no offence like !) lol  Then if we don't get into Shrewsbury and we say onother one; White .....looked like bad news as it looked like it was being dropped of at a house from the back of a brake down truck ( top of the Mount in Shrewsbury) Bad luck chap ! :(
