    Have tried cleaning the IAA out with wd40 and adjusted the screw on the side of it but it doesn't seem to change the idle speed, am I doing something wrong or does it mean the IAA is not working properly? cheers

    I was just wondering what the bhp, top speed and 0-60mph are on a unmodded 300ZX TT? what is the difference between UK and JDM because of compression ratio and manual and auto? Also, what gains are made in the above with the easy mods of better induction, uprated exhust and chipping?

  5. Standard catalyst converters are very restrictive and seriously limits performance. Many people have blown their turbos due to decatting! I cant see how decatting can be the sole cause of this. I would like to find out how many people have 1. Decatted & blown stock turbos, running standard boost 2. Decatted & blown stock turbos, running between 0.7 bar & 1 bar boost 3. Decatted & blown stock turbos, running over 1 bar boost 4. Decatted & no problems, running standard boost 5. Decatted & no problems, running between 0.7 bar & 1 bar boost 6. Decatted & no problems, running over 1 bar boost

    Hi Gents :) Hope someone can throw some light my way, just got my two recon tubbs uprated with 360 bearings and a step gap seal, put these on the engine and dropped the lump back in a couple of days ago. Primed the tubbs, then started her, let her tick over for 5 mins to warm up, when i turned her off i got back under car and looked up and noticed that the passenger side tubb was very slightly leakin oil, from where the centre housing meets the exhaust housing, i checked the oil feed and return and both dry, even rang the people who did them for me and they couldnt under why!! They said if it was leakin there it would be gettin into the exhaust housing cau…

    I need help - i have a late 1989 Z32 300ZX V6 Non turbo swb which seems to be under the weather a bit. It seems to have an intermitant loss of power which feels almost like a bad misfire. Once the engine is above 3000rpm it clears until i change gear and the revs are back below 3000rpm again. it seems to come and go but the engine managment light does not illuminate when it is running rough, the cat temprature light does come on if you try to drive up hills below 3000rpm when it is running rough which says to me that it must still be sending fuel into the cylinders. i have treid the obvious like plugs, fuel filter etc but nothing seems to make a difference.     Just got my zed back from having the rear sill welded and need to get on and underseal the car. im going to go for waxoyl, Im expecting a dirty job but after bit of advice really. Guessing the old underseal can stay on the car as long as its clean and just add a new layer ontop? Guessing waxoyl can be applyed to most of the underside of the car? anywhere to avoid (drain holes etc...suspension components..) Also, guessing it can just be brushed on with a paint brush?

    Can anyone let me know where I can find a clean reliable low mileage twin turbo engine. I've been on to API who have engines for the 300 but he says he has no premier ones, his are all under 50 k miles but I would like an engine with 30k max?? anyone know where else i can ask??

    Last week I went through a deep patch of water, car cut out but then started again with a loud knocking/rattling. Oil pressure etc is fine, any suggestions on what it could be? Bottom end was rebuilt i Feb so don't think it could be that.

    Just wanted to know why jet migtips cause boost spikes ?? as im using jets mig tips normally boost on aftermarket gauge has always been steady 15psi max all of sudden gauge was reading 20/22psi :eek:changed jets from 0.8mm to 1.0mm hasnt made much difference, so have been driving safely with optimax until i get ebc fitted

Hey Folks, I noticed after a little reading that there are a few People on this Forum from the Newport area of South Wales, I was just wondering if someone can point me in the direction of a decent garage so i can get me Zed checked over. I am new to the world of the Zed and only purchased mine a month ago, not long after purchasing it one of the RAD pipes went and there was alot of water and alot of steam, from what I can see (800 miles later) there doesnt appear to be any lasting damage but i still would like to be on the safe side.     What is the correct qty of oil to refill the Z from complete empty including torque converter.? And in my manual its lists dextron fluid. I believe ATF3 and ATF4 are the same or better ?? Mines a jap spec Auto 1992 Twin Turbo Any help please !! :)

    Can the standard Nissan master cylinder pump enough fluid for the size of the R34 calipers all round? Im taking it they are bigger than standard calipers. Just that I can get the pedal to hit the floor. Now theres no way I use it down that far, I would head but the steering wheel, but its not right to be able to hit the floor. Just changed fluid, pumped 2 litres through, no air that I can find. Pedal feels the same now as it did when I got the car, even after changing fluid.

    pls help does any1 know where i can get my jic coilovers repaired because after hitting a large pot hole the other day i think ive busted a seal on the rear driverside there is oil everywhere and the z bounces all over the shop.i have been told u can buy a repair kit???
