hi guys my cars going in for the auto/manual conversion in a couple of weeks,and i was thinking of putting a lightened flywheel on at the same time what do you think ,agood idea or not and are there any problems that can result from fitting one ,also proberbly will fit a set of unorthodox pulleys as well any views or advice ? thanks guys.

I've managed to over-tighten the rad bleed screw valve thingy and shear off the top. :( :slap: How the hell do I get the bottom bit out?! :confused: Obviously I don't want to do anything which would risk shedding debris into the coolant. The only thing I can think of is gluing a stick of some sort to the top and using that to twist it out. But knowing my luck I'll just glue the valve thread! :rolleyes: Or maybe carefully cutting the top with a sharp knife, then twisting out with a screw-driver? Bright ideas greatfully appreciated! :) Cheers, Mark

just replaced all my fuel lines and the water pipes under the intake and all associated pipes :) bad news is 20 miles down the road one of the pipes that goes to heater matrix has blown bah :( any one know if these are dealer parts only as i cant get a proper bend in the hose i got without kinking it :( any idea on price would help thanks guys :)

Just took the zed out and I have noticed a fair bit of vibration above 50ish. I can't tell where it is coming from but the whole car shakes like mad!! I feel it through the steering wheel, the seat, the floor etc. I had 2 new tyres fitted recently so I think it could be balancing but does that not dissapear above 60ish? If it is prop bearing, how much am I looking at to fix? :mad:

Im having a few problems with my sound system, theres no sound!! Checked in the back and ive just noticed that the battery saver thing isnt working so it could be that im also trying to get the radio out so i can check all the connections, just my luck it doesnt just slide in and out. Ive taken the 2 top screws out near the air vents and the 2 above where the radio sits but the centre console still wont come out. Is there anymore screws hiding anywhere or do i have to be a bit more brutal with it and just pull? :( please reply asap, going to a cruise tonight and the car is really quite, its not good!!

I've been reading Blackmagic's conversion thread.. very useful. I told my mate in Japan to keep an eye out for a front/rear GTR brake set-up for me. Anything special I should be looking for?? R32, R33, R34.. differences?? What sort of cost should this set me back?? Anyone else interested if he finds a few sets? I'm bringing a car over so should be able to pack them in the boot (will take 2 months though!)

4 Days before USC and my water pump has packed up I think :mad: Unless I ask the local Nissan Dealership to do it for ££££'s I am up shit creak as I doubt any other place can take it and get it back to me by Thursday. I don't want to drive more than 2-3 miles anyway. Can the water pump be changed without removing the cambelt etc. I don't even have a crank pulley but could go and buy one now if the rest of the job was easy? What are the basics I need to change only the pump? Not a happy bunny at the moment :(

hi guys are there any 'how to's around showing how to replace a rear quarter glass? as per my last posts around generally, my rear driver quarter glass was smashed last night. is it something that I can do or is it recomended that i leave it to a pro? darren

Had the engine out to do a few jobs, on refitting it I cannot close the gap between the engine bell housing and the autobox. Is there a trick to this or just keep trying. Thanks

Just wanted to know if the little hose that goes from just under the radiator cap (to the expansion tank I think) needs a clip on it or not? Mine hasn't got one on at the mo, just noticed it last night, cos I has to cut a little bit of split pipe off it and push it back on.

Guys need your opinion i recently changed my ecu chip from a jwt to one of john dixons chip everything seems fine apart from boost seems a bit high previously with the jwt chip aftermarket gauge showed 15/16 psi weres know with jd chip same gauge is showing 20 psi which got me slightly worried as injectors,ic's,tubs are stock is there anything to worry about ?? engine seems to run smoothly perfect idle etc
