pls help does any1 know where i can get my jic coilovers repaired because after hitting a large pot hole the other day i think ive busted a seal on the rear driverside there is oil everywhere and the z bounces all over the shop.i have been told u can buy a repair kit???

It would seem that my little hairdryers are on there merry way oot! any advice on what turbos to replace them with would be greatly appreciated... i want to keep the internals stock so no rolls royce jet engine upgrades! though i would like to boost a wee bit more than standard!

I have seen a zed that is coming on the market now and I HAVE to have it.. So I will be looking to put my Zed up for sale in the next couple of weeks, but with the current market being what it is... Guys .......and girls of course :) it seems i have lost the 12v constant feed to the stereo , time clock, air conditioning temp control etc etc ...its a pain in the arris having to go through all the tracks on the CD to find where i was and to have to reset the AC every time i start it up ...anybody have an idea which fuse is the main 12v supply for these items .......have checked the ones in the drivers foot well but they are all fine .....stumped now and dontwant to go running leads through the bulk head if i can help it ... any help greatly appreciated as always Steve :bow:

my Z just doesnt seem as fast as it should be!!!!! :( since the decat and 3" exhaust was put on the Z is more responsive and sounds great, but when i turn the boost controller on it just dosent have the same mad push in the back that it used to have, the boost gauge it saying that its boosting up to 14 psi. :headvswal any ideas? boost controller is HKS EVC 1

Hello all! I've had my Zed for 5 months now and I want to get it serviced and thouroughly checked over by people who really know what they're doing before I do any serious 'tarting up'. It's had a 60k service last year with a new cam belt, but I'd like a full service doing with a check on the auto box and some diagnostics to look at my slightly limp boost :eek: I'm willing to travel a fair way (100 miles or so I guess), and I'd like to hear any recommendations of places in my area! I've seen that the Zen Garage is in Putney, so that might be an option.... Any suggestions? Cheers, Christian

Further to my post regarding engine blow up on M6 (ran with no water until stopped). There is No compression at all on any cylinder, my question is can the heads be removed with the engine in situ or does the engine have to be removed? If it can be done in situ are there any instructions? Also if needed do you know of any good cylinder heads at a good price? Thanks......................

hi all on a regular basis when i start the car the heater temperature control resets itself to 25 degrees its getting on my nerves, cos i dont realise and 2 minutes later i am hot as fook! any ideas why and what the cure is? cheers

I recall reading on here a while ago that some pipes are common to go pourous on these cars and cause fuel leaks. mine stinks like hell when i start her up - where should i be looking - what is likely to be leaking?

My car has been missfiring so ive taken all the sparkplugs out and they seem to be ok, what plugs would you reccomend in their place?

Hi, I have found a nice looking Twin T on Autotrader based in Windsor. As Windsor is nearly 100 miles from me and I know sweet fa about the mechanics of any car is there anybody based there that knows Z's and would be willing to either take a look for me or come with me to take a look? I know it's a big ask but I travelled some distance this weekend to view a pile of shite. Also - the car in question has no service records because it is an 'import'? I have previously been considering buying a manual Zed but after being taken for a spin in Z man's car at the weekend i am coming round to the idea of owning my first automatic. It seems like the auto box has a number of settings, could someone try to explain to me the different functions and how they actually work and what impact this has. Are there any manual purists out there who can tempt me back...?
