I first noticed this pulling away from a petrol station the other day. When I turned the ignition the car was sqealing at me. It had a certain rythm to it so I'd guess it was some sort of belt or basically something that goes round and round. Anyway it went away after about 20 seconds. Any ideas? Im not sure if it will do it again because It was the last time I drove it before I went on holiday and I can't drivwe it yet since I gave my sister the keys to look after. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Al

Hellow folks, i just bought a zx 300 had the believe that its not as powerful as i expected it to be, so i took it for someone to have alook at it for me.He ran a diagnostic test for me and said that it is not pushing the right amount of bhp, its doing about 190bhp at the moment and it should do about 220bhp,he also said that might be due to beceuse of a knock sensor so it thats the case how much will it cost to change the sensor ? and what else might it to lost soo much power? :headvswal

Hi all, Am thinking of sellign my zed, but not sure how much it's worth as it's quite a rare spec/age. I spent nearly 7k importing it in late 2004 / early 2005, and I'm the only UK owner. I would like to think that it's worth around 6k, but not sure if that's realistic, as it's a NA auto. Anyway here are the details, comments welcome. ------------------------------------ September 1996 300ZX NA (Series4) Automatic Imported (by me via an agent) in February 2005 Medusa (?) 18” chrome alloys – Very eye-catching, but tasteful, I get a lot of compliments on these. Has got some minor curb-damage on the edges, though i think easily repairable. …

Team, Just got racelogic traction control  and the the new blitz boost controller thing fitted and really really pleased with them both  The SBCi is cool the way it consolidates all the info into one small unit avoidin the "i'm flying a tornado dial-fest look at the number of dials i got!" so peeps............. On the SBCi box it lists many monitoring functions beyond the basic boost, revs etc. It lists an optional cable for further sensors etc. So my question a) Anyone Else got one fitted? and b) Have you got your additional sensors connected? and c) Anyone sell the additional harness I need? Chris

Sorry about the pun  I was jetwashing the zed earlier and was blasting the brake dust from my rims - not for the first time. Unfortunately, with the pressure of the water, a load of the silver paint on the spokes of my wheels has come off  I don't want to have to fork out for a re-furb, plus I know some companies are reluctant to touch split-rims. Are there any paints on the market which could be used to touch them up? Cheers, Dave

Hi guys, I have a 300zx H reg twin turbo. ad my mate do some work on it and he left the bunch of 6 earths (ithink 6 anyway) off the engine, then tried to start it, this caused the ignition amp to get red hot and fry itself as earth was tried to be foun,d so ive fit a new amp, and found that i have no trigers to them, or the ignition relay. I now suspect a blown ecu aswell. So where is tere ecu located? (people keep sayin different places). Please help, or if there are any more ideas of faults. It was a perfect runner till he did this. Hi, I "may" soon be putting on some nice 19" wheels on my car and am looking to buy lowering springs from Mike at MJP. On his website he states you can specify the drop, spring rate, etc and as I'm looking to keep the ride height as close to stock as possible (whilst reducing the arch gaps) I thought these would be the right choice. For the time being they'll go over stock JDM struts (relatively new). Questions: (1) Has anyone else bought these springs from MJP? And if so how do you rate them? (2) I'm looking to install these myself - what specialist tools are recommended? Many thanks! Dan
