hi all my 300zx 1990 n/t I have problem with engin ( oil pump ) & & & & so I wont change my engin & convert my 300zx to twinturbo tell me - price for all to chang - what we need to convert to twin turbo ! Im waiting

Need an uprated rad, and after searching have decided on the Koyo. However, looking at a pic of it on zcentre's site, it looks roughly square, but the one in my car is very rectangular, about 700 x 400. Mines a '94 n/a. Are the series 1 and 2 rads different sizes? or does the Koyo rad fit in the same gap ok?

Getting some parts laser cut for engine mounts, manifold flanges etc in the next few weeks. You want an extra set done or are you planning on going your own way on it? Will save a little on the cost getting them done all at once.

Hi there. Just noticed my speedo is acting funny. Its got a mind of its own and happily sitd at 120 then 80 then 40 then 140 all in the space of about a minute? Not being a mechanic im not sure what the problem is, however the earth lead clamp on the batery aint to hot?? Could that be the case as the speedo worked alright last night but dodgy yesterday afternoon! Thanks again Guys.

I was driving up the M1 the other day and as I pulled into the inside lane the steering suddenly went to one side so I pulled over and had a look round and I couldn't see anything so I pulled off the road and my brother who was following me said he saw the nearside rear wheel wobbling. I grabbed the HICAS arm and it wobbled like mad where it goes into the rack. Would this be the inner ball joint broken or something else? Ivan

Anyone know who sells the front camber correction kits ? not the full adjustable arms, the shims I think.

Just got my car back and im getting error 53 are the 02 sensors before the cats? I cant seem to see them. Thanks, Ed

Saw it reverse of a drive and shoot up the a41 towards chester. looked quite nice, not seen it around the area before though.

Clutch Pedal Travel - I have fitted a 2nd Hand OS Giken Twin Plate and I have not adjusted the pedal (testing stage). The pedal seems to run free about 1-2" at the top when depressing. Is this normal? Or does it require bleeding yet again? 3. Cooland Temp Gauge isnt working. I also have an aftermarket gauge and that won't read temperature either which is read from a different sensor. I though stuck thermostat but when I filled with car running steam was coming from the rad bleed hole? So Im puzzled with this as well…

Hi - Can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to run a pair of wires from the engine compartment thro to inside the car? Cant tell you what its for or no one will tell me due to the tackiness of this particular mod!!! :cool:

Hi all Is it possible to clean our style of injectors off the car? I have read that the ASNU system only works on top feed type injectors not our Bosch K type. Something about being unable to pulse the injector, and the higher wear rates on K types Anyone know any different?

Does the exhaust note get louder with de cats fitted .Ive got a trust twin 5" cat back system which sounds like a standard exhaust very boring.thanks

Am I right that after pulling the little plug behind the ignition so I can release my key while the turbo timer is active that if you are starting the car up, it wont release the autobox when you press the brake pedal? I have to use the little lever at the back of the autobox stick to get it into drive! If not then errrmmmm how do I fix it? Saying that I might just keep it as it is, as it'll prob confuse the hell out of anyone trying to nick it. One more thing, where the hell is the shift lock wire? Or at least what colour is it as I seee more then two wires and I dont wanna slice into the wrong one!

Over at Leon's (Alunox in Wrexham) today with JD to start work on Leon's own V8 and to plan out what we do next on the builds. Took the opportunity to take some photos of my engine while it's test fitted in a scrapper we're using. All in all it's a pretty damn good fit :) : Leigh.

been out in my car today and cruisin about. a couple of times i thought i heard a very faint rattle comin from the engine whe i changed gear. never really listened for this sound before. and only owned her for a few weeks. i own a st mondeo v6 and she has a very funny knockin sound as you rev the engine up then release. this i know to be the usual v6 knock. i have owned loads of v6 cars and they all have a funny sound at certain revs on overrun. now i dont know if i,m being paranoid but i also noticed a drop in oil pressure. i checked the oil and it was at bottom of dip stick. i topped her up and the oil pressure came up to normal again. now i know wat you will say and i …

...was one of the many nice comments I heard when I was out in my Zed earlier. Really makes you proud to own one with the amount of interest and respect these cars still generate. Very much enjoyed driving it this afternoon. :)

White Z getting petrol at midday at SPAR garage, Southport Road. Put my 20 y/o model in the shade.

It's not the typical gurgle that AIV valves make, can't discribe the noise. I can prevent if from happening, but reving and changing gear slowly. It's almost like an unhealthy woshing noise. Gets louder the higher the revs and the faster I lift off. It's not that loud, I just notice it.
