Funkysi Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 ...was one of the many nice comments I heard when I was out in my Zed earlier. Really makes you proud to own one with the amount of interest and respect these cars still generate. Very much enjoyed driving it this afternoon. :) Quote

Funkysi Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 I'd say more so than a Skyline. For instance, my car has no big kit on it, no crazy colours and it still manages to turn heads. LOL, when I was in France in June, I felt like a celebrity. The attention out there it got, as there are almost none over there, was unreal. Quite disturbing actually, you'd have thought I was driving a Ferrari rather than a £5k Datusn. Quote

DaFox Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I don't know...? bloody attention seakers, the lot of ya!!! I could take my zed down the local that has a beer garden overlooking the carpark and sit there all evening - every evening and watch people stop, stare, point, gawk, comment, gasp, peer, peek, and generally wonder what the hell kind of car it is (as the only give-away is the word nissan on the calipers)... ... but i restrict myself to just doing it on a friday :) ... and it gets more attention than anything else there.. 911's and skylines included  Quote
Funkysi Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 overlooking the carpark and sit there all evening - every evening and watch people stop, stare, point, gawk, comment, gasp, peer, peek, Didn't have you down as being one for dogging. Quote
Guest dgsignmakers Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 well i must say after buying mine the amount of people who stop and gorp is mad. i get a warm feeling every time i drive her through the local village, i think this must be one of the first to be owned around our way for as long as i can remember. feels cool to own her Quote
DaFox Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Didn't have you down as being one for dogging. Dogging... not really... partial to a good foxing every now and again... boom-boom :nana2: Quote

geeky_hawkes Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Is it just me or that skyline not look to healthy to anyone else? Quote
scrawni Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 I was lay in atent at run to the sun and I heard "wow whats that?" "Thats a 350 Z" "no its not, thats sexy" It made me smile all weekend Quote
TiZer Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 you wanna try taking mine out it gets a bit embarrasing at times. and you just cant leave it anywhere. Quote
AlFo Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 It's great cus no one knows what it is. Thing about skylines is that most people have heard of them but they aren't too distinctive. People usually go 'wow' to skylines when they read the writing on the back rather than when they first see it. Quote

Really makes you proud to own one with the amount of interest and respect these cars still generate. Very much enjoyed driving it this afternoon. :) I know what you mean Si, when I`m overseas I leave mine at my parents house but its a bit too big for the garage so whenever my oldman needs to do some work he reverses the car out onto the drive. He`s told me a couple of times that the Mr Big in Lairg(who owns the hotel and nearly all the shops) is always driving past the house craining his neck trying to get a better look at it and when you bear in mind that he owns a ferarri 360, 2 porsche 911`s, a bentley continental and a big merc you know you have a good looking motor. Craig David Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 The other day I was driving and first some kids came out of a shop to look at it as they'd seen it on their playstation game. Then later another kid shouted 'nice car mister' as I drove past. It certainly seems to impress kids. Kids and blokes who work in kebab shops - they absolutely love it and almost always have a mate with some wheels to sell for it. Quote
