Anyone have this in their car? Looking for any comments u have cause i am considering installing one in my Z.. If not the HKS i am also looking at the MSD DIS systems

seen a wolf designs chip on ebay can i fit this myself??????? also just fitted a new pipe to throttle bodie as other had tear and was losing boost now the car will only boost to almost 7 but before was on 7+ does this mean im in safety mode? as the car peforms better down lower end revs now??????

My sigma alarm system don't work anymore, which means I can't start my car, as I don't know the pin code for the keypad. Anybody know anything about sigma alarms? I've searched on tinternet and can't find a website. I need to get an engineer to come and fix the thing but don't know where to start! Any ideas...?

i've just fitted some reverse gauges on my j-spec tt new gauges go to 160mph old gauges 180 kph can anyone tell me what i need to do to get gauges to read correct mph on the new clocks. cheers pete :bow:

Don't get me wrong,i luv my Zed to bits,but..... every time i run over something as small as a cats eye,my back nearly breaks,and the car skips sideways. The ol' girl has been lowered so much by the previous owner,that there is just enough room to get your fingers inbetween the arches and the tyres. She's running on 17" wheels with low prof tyres. I don't think the springs are shagged 'cos i bought it with a full MOT 6 weeks ago. So if anyone knows how to make the ride a bit more comfy(oo-er missus) without making the car look silly,you would make a newby very happy-cheers!

Hi Im looking at getting a Z and i just wondered how Twitchy they are? it will be my first RWD car.

wen i start my car up on a morning there is a light rattle which laasts for about 2 seconds then goes of as soon as the oil pressure goes up. do these cars have hydraulic tappets. if so could this be the noise i,m hearing when the engine is hot, the sound only seems to come on after i have driven hard for a bit. and dosnt do it under load or over run. just when you dip the clutch and rev it slightly. i dont want this to end up being the little end rattle which i think it could be. has any one had the little ends go on them. my oil pressure is always good even when hot. i changed the oil the other day to the recommended semi synth 10 - 40. i used castrol magnatesc. should …

UK 1993 TT auto Let me start from the begining on the way out driving along at 40 then all of a sudden the rev's shoot up and then i realise i have no drive at all, so i pull over and try to select 1,2 D and R and there is no selection and car jus doesnt move. So i switch off the car check the auto box level and all is ok. start her up again so there seems to be no problems. 100yards down the road no drive again!!!! so pull over and all i can hear is like a high pitch sound from the back of the engine (converter) area. got the car recovered and now havent a clue what is wrong with her. can anyone plz help as i'm a bit stumped. when i got the car the drivers window was inop, tested motor its fine checked switches fine this left me with the relay in the drivers door replaced this window worked fine for a week now its gone back to how it was :headvswal

hi all. i've been searching for threads for the last hour on what mods people reccomend for auto's and im getting nowhere. am i typing the wrong stuff in? tried auto, automatic, mod, modified, modifications, chip, ecu, intake, exhaust, etc etc. :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal basically i just want my new auto to be a bit "more" if you know what i mean. nothing drastic but enough to make it interesting. can you run a bit more (like 1.0 bar) boost or will it need the 'box chipping? dont really want to spend much on the auto for mods as im going silly on the manual so cheap power gains would be nice. think i'll be happy at about 330-350bhp in this one. its already …

Hi Guys I have written recently about my problems with the car over heating and now I have found the cause. The plastic around the top of the Rad where the cap screws onto has got a grove in it. As the car temp builds up the cap gets forced into the grove which raises the cap and thus lets out the water. Anybody got a simple solution? I mean can I use some kind of plastic resin to try and fill in the grove, or is it a new rad. If it's a new rad anyone got an idea how much is going to cost me to get it swapped? Anyone know where i could find some BRIDE car seats, and even the bride fabric with the bride logo all over it. seen a jap sylvia s15 with it on the door panels in a car mag, im fancying getting rid of my leather interior as cream leather and kids(ok then me :wack: ) dont go together. and i quite fancy the bride seats but i want the bride fabric to match the original rears with the bride seats. any ideas? cheers si

Is detonation always audible? I seem to be able to run more than 15deg of timing without any audible pinking. I'm getting more power and no safety boost but is it safe? On 15 deg the car feels slow
