do you know what other jap cars would take the same wheels,

for example if the wheels came off a supra, gto or a evo or something would they go straight on?

Well, yep depending on offset/width!!

Personally i think 19's look **** on a Z, 18's are the biggest id go.

Never really been a fan of wheelmania rims, but zcentre do some nice ones and IMHO, these look great. Not expensive either...

Been thinking about a set of these myself from luke, certainly look good and are very nicely priced. Just cant decide 18's or 19's. I like the offset on my wheels cos they sit slightly further out than std zed wheels so I may be limited to 18's.

19s fit no problems, had two sets on now, 1 set of Mania Pacifics and the 5 spoke design from I got from the US. You will probably want to lower the car once you put them on, as the car seems to sit a little high on 19s.

I agree with Chunk there

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

19" look great I've got em on mine, but you pay the price of harder ride, and feel every little peble on the road, plus tyre prices are expensive

Is the ride bad? Erh? No. Did I say it was???

I put standard JDM rims on it over the weekend to use while it was in the bodyshop and the ride felt almost the same to be honest.

Bird,

I recently upgraded from stock 16" wheels to 19" Kahn alloys. Firstly I think 19" wheels look great on a Zed. I can't really say the ride comfort has changed all that much - yes it's a bit stiffer but so what ... As for the increase in ride hight, I measured my the ride height before and after the swap and at the front the car went up 30mm whereas at the rear it was only 25mm. I bought some AVO lowering springs (drop=30mm and 25% stiffer than stock springs) and am looking to install these very soon. If you (or anyone else) want to buy AVO springs then let me know as I am now a reseller of their equipment and can offer a very decent price for a set of four.

Have a look at the attached pics to see what I mean.

Agree with danny. Ive not noticed much difference in ride quality and i went from standards to 18" and then 19". I also think that the right 19" wheel looks fab on a Z. I personally prefer deep dish!

I suppose it depends on what profile ur using to keep the wheel diameter the same, i'm running 315/25/19 rears lol

Ride height will not change if you use the correct profile ! If it has changed then you the profile is wrong, and you have affected the speedo accuracy and acceleration/top speed.

I have 19's, they are a great size for the zed, but 18's look good too. Ride quality is not a problem with either.

Surely the ride height wont change as the rolling radius should be somwhere near the same. If it isn't then you will have to change your speedo etc.
