Hi guys found your race video very cool, any word on your bumper coming over guys?

Lets start with a few facts then... Im having one built to my spec for my SWB 300ZX. Another couple of my Midlandz mate are joining in to add to the pool of expertise and share the costs. The cages we are building are "street, Strip, and trackday" spec, they wont have FIA or Rac MSA approval. The only approval they will have is mine and thats because I want to feel safer on the track/strip and I also want to stiffen up the shell to give better handling and suspension geometry.I am only having a rear hoop with rear and diagonal bracing. There will be no attempted "group buy" or anything similar. There was little response before, so Im not going near that again. …

ok, just to get an idea of what prices to expect if i did break it, what would you pay for ZX parts? i may be breaking a jap TT LWB auto if its going to generate enough? all bits there apart from some minor ones (like the splash guards under the ints, front bumper is N/A and so are clocks). runs really nice. NO smoke, rattles, etc. any ideas what the parts are worth? if its enough, i'll subscribe just to break it on here. cheers. si.

hi all. i have at the moment one of (if not THE) worst condition Z's ever. it has been crashed at least once and looks like a lot more. on the good side, mechanically its very impressive. no smoke, rattles, leaks, etc and it has good strong power and behaves very well. im just wandering if its worth breaking it for parts or re-shelling it? interior = tweed but very good cond, everything works, etc. its an auto LWB TT T-bar. N/A front bumper, its had a rear 1/4 (badly fitted), had the right hand side bashed in at some point, the door window shuts against the targa, front crossmember is bashed and bent, etc. but its got 11 months MOT and tax and seems to work ok …

Whos done one of these without taking the dash out? Would someone help me/do the tricky getting hands in small places. Mine arnt that small. Im sure some £££ can be arranged! I really dont wanna take all the dash out. They never go back properly!

Could anyone help me out here...... I'm considering buying a car that is, currently, in France. It has already been imported into France from the US. So my question is.... will I have to pay import duty, whats the going rate, any problems I could encounter with this route, etc? Hi, anyone got an idea where to get a Kaminari rear valance/bumper in Europe or UK? Don´t want to spent hundreds on freight from California. My car has a Greedy E-01 and Apexi S-AFC II, JD socketed chip. Normally it runs at 12psi. Its spose to go into overtake boost at a press of a button. Taking it to 16psi. If I want to set it to run at 16psi all the time, im going to do this on the rolling road, is there anything they need to adjust on the e-01 or s-afc. Or is it just a case of setting to to 16 psi and run it up and check fueling/knocking. Thanks.

Hi, who of you guys have experience (good or bad) with the Z centre´s 2+2 lwb tailgate tub? Would be interessted in fitment, (detail) looks, needed skills for installment, (dis-) advantages, water proofness, etc. Do the rear seats remain useable? Regards Alex

I have lost my switch ignition circuit from my zed today. I have checked the fuses in the drivers footwell and all appears well. The dashboard lights all work (diff oil hicas alternator i think) s does the interior light and the car starts and runs fine. My radio, boost controller carputer etc all are not recieveing the switched signal ? Have i missed a fuse? Where abouts is the relay for this circuit? Cheers guys

well had the car to a garage today and he reckons it sounds like the little ends that are rattling on overrun, the noise only comes on at around 2500 revs just after you blip the throttle. only seems to have gotton worse since i put the magnatec in. i used the semi 10-40. i put a shot of STP in her today and still the sound is there. its not that its a real loud noise its just i know if it is the little ends then it will get alot worse. What are my options. would it be cheaper to pull the engine, strip her down and replace all bearings ie, big main and little. i could also check on other things that could need changing. or would it be cheaper to buy a block with heads and…

A mint condition UK 300ZX (Z32) brochure!! Full colour, 38 pages, absolutely fantastic :dance: Full of brilliant pictures of the series 1 zed, A4 size pages. I've just scanned it into the PC, so far it's running at 215MB!!!! Hopefully tomorrow, I should have the paint chart turn up as well. Once this arrives I'll be making them both into a full pdf file, which should reduce it a bit! :D Any one interested, give me a shout. Don't yet know how I'd get it to you, as e-mail is out of the question for a start ;)

my seals are leaking round the doors they look fine do I need to put some stuff on them to make them waterproof again? What's it called?

couple of things some mornings there is an interesting smell when i get in the car, smells like strong chemical smell, could it be some sort of fluid, clutch, brake etc got the fuel kit from smithy still stinks of petrol only in the morning though and only since it got cold, god will it ever go away? Do I need to tighen them up? I'm getting a Hid kit from Danny, my right light (driver side) is held together by glue and is not aligned properly ... funny that :rolleyes: How do you align the lights or where can i go?, would it be better to get a new light/casing? how much do you let your engine/turbos cool down before you turn the engine off? what is your prefered method off cooling down? idling (if so how long do you leave it)? taking it easy for last part of journey not using boost? any other methods?

Hi. Im going to be replacing my prop shaft centre bearing this month. Whats the best stuff to re-seal the exhausts, if the gaskets fall apart or is it best to buy new gaskets? Thanks
